[RFA] BarneyMonkeyMan PP Manifesto/Ideas

Well first who am I
Born 10 May 2009 to eRep I've only ever been with one party, that party being the RFA. Within the RFA I've been a Recruiter, New Members Ambassador and Election Coordinator, and finally the primary facilitator to the Education Room. I’ve been in the RG and the Navy (I admit the time in the navy was brief). Active regionally and have continued to be so both when I lost elections and when I won a Congress seat.
I was here in July when the Party had a massive slump in active forum members and was one of the active members who asked for reform (JB I’m sure will recall).
Since then under Flamur and AV (both who did fantastic jobs) we have improved but I feel we have stalled over recent times and this is an issue that requires urgent attention.
Progress the Party
What would you do I hear you ask?
Well,
I'd have a revamp of current party positions (yeah Kais stole my thunder but as such I wont announce whom I’d have, if you don’t know what I’m talking about get yourself on the forum).
I'd pick what is possibly seen in reverse to current trends and have activity and loyalty count towards your position within the party. I want the more active gamers to take up the recruitment roles, with which I see fit being New Members Ambassador (likely the most active and committed, like 0nlooker for those who remember him).
For the roles of Party Sec/Vice PP I’d choose the person whom has experience but has a view that is not sided either way on the political spectrum, they must be open to opinion as this is the second most influential position within the party and as such must hold what this party values to heart.... that being free speech.
I won't name people directly as I don’t want my choice in some way to harm there progression within the party as I freely undertake the part of underdog in this election, especially with the likes of Goku and JvB(unfortunately JvB has retired from the election) who are both 'old dogs' of the party.
What are my aims
Firstly, I’d go back to basics, we don't lose CP elections due to bad manifesto's, we lose them due to a lack of support, that support should come from within our party especially when it's one of our own whom is the primary opposition to the current CP. When I joined the party the UKRP were the dominant party, times have changed and now the TUP rule the roost, I want to aim to challenge them. As such I’d put the priority on recruitment, this I would do by encouraging the new players to join us via mass pm'ing and adverts as even the two clickers have an opinion, with the priority being put towards our ability and willingness to listen to all opinions.
Secondly, The party seems to of become stuck in the political forum, whether that’s due to the congressmen elected or our beliefs is up for debate.... as such I think we need to decided on three key things to achieve on the grander congress arena, whether that is Military power or some other prowess is completely up to the party for which I believe so much in; the RFA.
Thirdly, I could give you a load of talk about taxes, treaty's and who to invade.......but that's not our choice that’s the elected governments choice and as such as a party our focus should be on getting members of our party into government at which point we will have a say on these issues, to say I want this and that would merely be my view and yet again we return to what this party stands for, not the view of one but the informed view of many where the decision has been made by the majority and not the minority within the party.
Fourthly, I'd also like to suggest a buddy system.
This would work by a more experienced member of the party takes a new member under their wing to answer questions and guide them as to what they need to do to develop their time both in game and in the RFA.
So for instance Ryan is lvl 18 (granted lvl's are deceptive as you can lvl quickly by fighting a lot) but has also been playing eRep since Jan takes on a player whom may only be lvl 7 (maybe higher) but is confused by the whole eRep thing. Ryan would then be there as a mentor to help the new player understand what the game is about and how it works. This would continue until the new member says he/she is good enough to continue on their own. Or they reach 1 month in game (up for discussion).

To increase our minority within the eUK parliament
To as a party discuss our aims and priorities
As a party I feel we have the right ideas were just lacking the numbers and influence to promote these to the national stage.
