Join the new world

Dear citizens of the eNetherlands,
In an eNetherlands that is increasingly waking up to its bright future, political parties should be responsive and we in Revolution et Libertas are more than happy to heed that call! In 'The Revolutionary' we aim to regularly inform you about recent (political) events and our views. So what do we have this time around? Revolution & Libertas on Top!
Some people question what we have to offer to the eNetherlands besides 'revolutionary' rhetoric. Do we truly care about improving the situation in the eNetherlands of their citizens? Yes we do! Do we seek to overthrow the system and agitate against common-sense politics only because opponents propose it? No, we don't! The eNetherlands has been the victim of laissez-faire politics for years, in which activity was on decline and the country was managed as if under bankruptcy. That all changes with the election of MDSanderon as Country President last summer.

Together with our progressive allies we have realized a miraculous increase in several metrics like number of votes, amount of damage done and financial income - where other countries have deepened their fall in irrelevancy. Much needed attitude-changes and reforms have been taken, including the installation of Governmental Programs and increased transparency and participation in Congress. This follows a long history of Revolutionary achievements, just like the entry to Orion or the realization of the 'Dutch Armed Forces' in the past which were equally under scrutiny back then.

Indeed, the vipers of reactionism are leaving their snake pits and appear in broad daylight, sensing that fatigue of the progressive wind is setting in. Inane issues are being extrapolated to put doubt in parties and individuals, a block in Congress is consistently voting against the consensus regardless of the issue at hand or even their (previous) opinions and smoke screens are being thrown about common-sense politics like the necessity of (TW) wars and our alliance of Orion - potentially damaging our country a great deal.

We have already seen fallen brothers in the progressive faction of the eNetherlands due to this. More than ever the 'Revolution' does indeed to be protected! The numbers don't lie. We as a collective country are improving in every metric, just as Revolution et Libertas is growing as fast. Just a few weeks ago we became the #1 party in membership, currently we have an healthy and stable position at the top - with six more members than the number two (24 versus 18 members).

The Pacifist Illusion
We in Revolution and Libertas are a war party. Not because we are a violent bunch (in fact, we're pretty fun to hang around with), but because this is rational behaviour in the game of eRepublik. One just has to take a look around the world that we are not alone in this! Wars bring additional economic activity, hardship and prepare our citizens for future conflicts. We consider ourselves as political party paramount in the responsibility to protect our nation when the time comes and believe everyone carrying any kind of mandate should do the same.


The recent event has shown both the profits to be gained as country and citizen, but also that we need a lot more opportunities to fight. In direct contrast to this nature, several factions are increasingly making a non-existent scandal about our Training Wars - calling for giving less battles and medals to our citizens. If that wasn't bad enough, these arguments are being covered in the veil of misinformation and lies about how we don't need wars of training at all. We in Revolution et Libertas recognize the need of war and our responsibility in offering it. We need active wars at all time to train, so that in the near future we no longer feel the need to hide away whenever we are under threat!

Let me introduce you to our wonderful list of Congress candidates aiming to improve the eNetherlands in whatever way possible, untied to ancient ideologies and special interests. Familiar faces like NoTie, ElGorro and MaartenW but also new dedicated representatives of our party, like Kaczyk, Alfonso and JackTrout. We seek to have all elected during the Congressional Elections of the 25th of April!
