[PotUS] Plans for December

Day 2,203, 20:43 Published in USA USA by Azazel Romanov

Apologies for the delays in articles. I’m afraid the holiday season causes distractions for everyone, including presidents. I had hoped to have some foreign policy developments, but those can wait a few more days. Instead, I would like to do some old-fashioned campaigning, despite the fact that I don’t see any competition. Nonetheless, you all deserve to know my plans for a future term, so let’s get started.

Remember, Remember, the Month of November

So what did we get done this month? A quick check-list should suffice:

-Kept and regained all of our regions.
-Maintained most of our allies in a post CoT world, along with assisting in campaigns.
-Revamped our domestic with some focus on Interior, Human Services, and Education.
-PTO knocked back down.
-Kept up consistent media.
-Avoided crisis.
-Didn’t panic.

Basically, this is what I wanted to accomplish this term, despite some setbacks. More work can be done for Human Services and Education, and we don’t have a set-in-stone foreign policy yet. However, I would call this a relatively stable month for our country. We can feel the world shaking and changing around us, but here we are, safe and sound. So where do we go from here?

Onto December

First of all, I was glad to receive the Federalist endorsement again, always been a home to me. Hope to not let you guys down and give you another good month to promote.

So what are my plans for December? In a nutshell, moving from our stability to progress. In foreign affairs, we can now stand to be a little more flexible and risky, but also stay smart. I will look to expanding our friends and acquaintances, as well as look into a few opportunities for our country to participate in. I’m not going to promise any war, but we might get some practice in the process of other operations. I will also seek to secure our borders and protect our homeland by continuing friendly or neutral relations with most of our neighbors. No need to jump at conflict right now, that’s what the summer is used for. I also want to continue supporting our consistent allies and improving our relationships with them. We have a lot of bros, and we need to stay close.

In our domestic affairs, we could stand to improve focus on Education and Human Services. Winter break is coming for a lot of us, which means more time for us to focus in on improving our programs, events, and outreach. Recruitment initiatives, personal contests, and helping the new guy out all deserve to be of paramount importance. Although I expect media to slow down during the holidays, I still intend for a consistent presence throughout the month to keep people informed and entertained. I also want to keep our Top 5 secure and our congress free from harm and disruption.

What cabinet changes will you be seeing? I already know that my NSC chairman and Media Secretary will be switched out, so more on that. Education will be the same, and yet different, as I am encouraging a different structure and approach with similar faces. If you are interested in serving in a department, let me know, but I must stress that I really need people in media and our domestic departments. There simply isn’t a demand for new people in my foreign affairs department unless you want to become an ambassador.

If I left something out, let me know. If you have a question, ask it. If you have a comment, leave it below. I look forward to your support on Election Day, and another month of serving as your president. Stay tuned for more updates.
