[PotUS] By Their Fruits ye Shall Know Them

Greetings eUSA! Before getting into the meat of this article I would like to direct you to the public section of the Executive Boards for the eUSA. I published a Press Briefing last night because the idea for it started rolling around in my mind when I was working. I am at the risk of overly patting myself on the back; quite proud of it and hope you all enjoy something a little different from my usual writings. With that let’s get into what will in essence be a campaign article.


Over the course of the last month or so I have heard with regularity from a variety of players that my articles are lengthy. I will attempt to keep this article brief. Please forgive me if I fail in that endeavor. My passion for the topics I have had the privilege of sharing with the community of eUSA frequently takes over when I sit down to type.

A month ago today the eUSA was wrapping up a Country President campaign. Nothing new about that they come around every single month and have done so for nearly 12 years. I would like to think what was if not new, but hopefully refreshing were detailed plans to recapture the spark of interest in our community. I was gone for much of the lean times. I had no plans to be absent from the eUSA for so long, but sometimes you get sucked into the vortex of life. 30 days ago I asked you the voters of the eUSA to take a chance on a recent return to the game whose peak years of eRepublik play were at least 4 years in the rear view mirror,

To add to the possibility of failure my tenures of Leadership have never been solely about myself. I consider this a good thing. There is little about me that is extraordinary. I am a fair to good writer. I try to be kind and helpful to others. I am willing to sit in meetings with other governments in eRepublik but I would not consider myself an expert in that arena. Similarly in coordinating and directing damage I can pay attention to a single battle with the best of them, but the day to day updating of prios and coordinating with Allies I have always left to individuals far more talented than I am. I care very much about government media and programs. I have always been about butter. That said I could not hope to match the intensity, enthusiasm, and talent of a Wilker Nath or KingTaco.



So really I asked the voters not just to buy into me, my plans, and visions for the eUSA, but to buy into a large team from a variety of backgrounds. In short my agenda had a lot of moving parts. I was and am confident in what I offered up to the voters because I have enjoyed being a part of many successful teams in the mold of what I hoped to build. It still was a risk. You the voters supported my candidacy with roughly 51% of the vote. Even my opponent and predecessor Groot showed trust in me when he took a step back from the game to attend to his family in the midst of a very rough time. I would be remiss if I did not mention the Parties who endorsed me a month ago: my own Federalist Party which has always backed me, USWP my old friends and political partners, and SFP a group that was once highly skeptical of me and my plans but has over time become very willing friends and allies. I thank all of you who took a chance last month. It is my belief that my team has delivered and then some in terms of the promises and goals laid out last month.

However, it does not matter whether or not I believe campaign promises have been kept. What matters is that you the voters believe it. If you are pleased with the relentless articles of government media, the Programs of the Interior, and a burgeoning National Cooperative that will in time grow to be self sufficient and more then I am asking for your vote. If you are happy with the results of the negotiations conducted by Pimpdollaz, DMJ, Shiloh, RT, and myself with Asteria then I am asking for your vote. If you are pleased that Congress has once again shown they will work with a President that includes them in the information loop then I am asking for your vote. If you believe that the assembled Cabinet of approximately 2 dozen individuals from 5 different Parties has done a stellar job and can only solidify the gains we have seen over the last month then I am asking for your vote. If you would like to see Pimpdollaz continue to revive and flesh out the Ambassador program then I am asking for your vote. If you want to see Paul killed in a new and interesting way in the Press Briefings nearly every day then I am asking for your vote. If you are happy with the transparency, inclusion, and current momentum of engaging the community then I am asking for your vote. If you believe the fruits of this administration are good then I am asking for your vote.


Before finishing this article I have one last point to make. A vote for Tyler Bubblar is ( in my admittedly biased view) not just a vote for me. It is a vote for the team. It is a vote for building something that can last beyond me. It is my sincere hope that over the next few months to a year we can and should look towards seeing a President SColbert, KingTaco, LifesaverM, Wilker Nath, Dinnyin, Aersidius, Pimpdollaz and more. It is my sincere hope that these players from their various Parties with their various ideas and differing philosophies will continue to not just respect each other and work together, but be friends who are there for one another. This will benefit the community of the eUSA and the quality of our gameplay far more than a 6th CP medal on my profile. I have had more than my share of honors and achievements.

I do this not for my own self aggrandizement, but to help position the eUSA and this Cabinet for the day in which they are the driving force of governing together while I go back to handing out tanks and food. I have privately told more than a few of my erepublik friends that in many ways I feel that I am the least necessary part of this endeavor. Every member of the team has contributed above and beyond my wildest expectations. For that win or lose tomorrow I thank them. You all have proven that our community is only dead and divided if we choose to allow it. You all have proven that what unites us is far stronger than what divides us. With that said I want to thank the Parties who have endorsed me for reelection (Federalist, SFP, USWP, and E Pluribus Unum), and the individuals who have written endorsement articles for me. It is humbly and gratefully received. With that said I thank you for reading. I also ask that you vote Tyler Bubblar for Country President on June 5th 2020. Let’s run this team back for one more month.

P.S. I am pretty sure I failed in keeping it brief. One of these articles I will get it right.
