After an incredibly amicable primary to choose our next Party President, I'm very pleased to have been selected.

I'd like to thank Kortanul for running a good race, and I'm looking forward to working with him over the next month.



The first priority will be some party spamming tonight (or tomorrow, depending on how late I'm stuck at work), and then the election itself.

Once that's all sorted, I'll begin taking down the names of people who want to run for Congress, and will try to make time to talk to each of them personally about what they see as being top priority going forward.

The Executive Board will be tasked with recruitment, primarily. I'm going to ask that everyone take the time to send out a handful of messages each day, and then note down who follows up with them so that we can keep in touch with our newer players.



Party distribution will be coming to the shout feed, more details on that to come following the election.

I'm also hoping to shove information down the throats of answer any questions, mechanical or otherwise, our new players might have. Again, this will be primarily forum based, but questions in the shout feed will receive responses.

Mostly, this is just a short article to say thanks, and to put something in the media.

Yea, it's a slow news day...so publish something. I usually frown on people posting article links in the comments of other articles, but if you write something today or tomorrow and you'd like me to read it, post it up here. We need more media activity.


The state of our media...

So, once again, thanks to all who voted in our primary. I enjoy winning things, so this was a good one in my book. I hope to be able to do the job justice, and we can see some positive growth and retention in the coming month.
