I was asked to run for CP. My first answer was “hell no”. My second answer was “No”. My third answer was “I’ll think about it.”

So I thought. If not me, then who. Which of us has the experience, confidence and willingness to run. Who of us will stand up and put themselves in the water with sharks in order to be PoTUS. Was I willing to do that again? When it seems so few are.



I rarely see more than one actually qualified (IMO) candidate these days. So much apathy for a dead/dying game. I wonder why we are even still here if we are so apathetic that it doesn’t matter to us that someone stayed in that seat for 6 months with little to no opposition. Sure a couple of months there were competent candidates but they didn’t have the passion to take down someone who was actually doing a good job.

I bet Derp could have been CP for a year or more if he wanted.

I find it sad in so many ways that there are so few qualified people willing to take the chance, step up and run for office.

…let me digress a moment I want to explain what I mean by qualified people. In my honest assessment, I believe it isn’t possible to properly be qualified unless you have had at LEAST one of these positions. CoS, FA or Defense/NSA. If you don’t have one of these positions I will not vote for you. They give you clarity of the current eUS situation to properly navigate the job of PoTUS…. Back to the article…

We have the same people running over and over and for the most part unchallenged. Has the apathy hit the point where we are willing to crown a King or Queen?

I already have my cabinet in place but I want people who’ve never worked in national politics to message me. If I am able (and lets me honest here.. If you aren’t a jerk) I’ll put you with one of my trusted Directors or Secretaries so that you can learn and at one point possibly run the country yourself. I love it when new people have a chance to learn what they need to in order to get themselves into a spot where they can be a qualified candidate for CP.

I loved it when WhydoIbother decided to step up and run and he has done an amazing job this term. We've have some fun battles, AARP has worked very well and I plan to continue it. I see no reason to stop a good thing. I’ve reached out to Herr Vootsman to see if he will continue to run the program and he has agreed! I’ve also asked Max to continue working MoW. He has caught it up and has consistently stayed within a realistic time frame on getting stuff out.

Thank you for doing such a great job WhydoIbother. I’ll take it from here.
