Interview with Nerzhu1
How do you get the inspiration from the name of "nerzhu" ?
- The name inspiration comes way back when Warcraft III was released, and the arrival of Dota.
I wanted to try and play my first Dota game but didn't know what to put my gamer name that time.
Like Malar Plainstrider inspired by Tauren Chieftain, Nerzhu was directly inspired by the Lich King Ner'zhul. 🙂

1. Do you play back erep or always have been play erep all time without quit? What's the reason to support you to play erep for such a long period?
- To be exact, I rarely played erep after mid 2014 onwards due to lack of internet facility at the place I was studying and was starting my first career.
If I managed to get some internet connection, and if I remembered I would open erep to do daily task only. But there were some period I was eDead for awhile.
Since the community is still around today, I would still support and play eRepublik.

2. How do you describe yourself as a erep player?
- Semi-Active/Passive, Pacifist, and a not so good Economician player in a game that is heavily oriented towards warfare.

3. What kind of game do you play usually besides text-based game? And what's the game you play much recently?
- I used to play MoBA games (Dota and Dota 2) before, but quit the genre entirely.
Now I play mostly Grand Strategy (Hearts of Iron IV, Europa Universalis IV) / Real-time Strategy games (Company of Heroes, Company of Heroes 2, Red Alert 3), few First/Third Person Shooter (Counter-Strike Global Offensive, Warframe, Mercenaries 2).
The game I played recently is Warframe (due to new game content released recently).

4. What's your favourite food in Malaysia? 😃
- Nasi Lemak FTW 😃

5. By picking a character from your favourite movie/anime, what would it be that suits your personality? And, what's your favourite character?
- Hmm tough question, the character that would suit my personality I would say Orga Itsuka from Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans.
But favourite character all time would have to be Tsukasa Kadoya 😃

6. You have become CP for 9 times, can you share your secret for handling situation during your tenure?
- For me, 9 times is small when compare with Morphine's 47 times CP :3
Back when I was most active around 2012 to 2014, the secret was unity and teamwork.
A lot of task delegation was done during my tenure so that everyone on board would have the opportunity to be part of the community.
Nowadays, it's not easy to repeat the same style due to a lot of RL commitment.

7. How do you protect yourself to prevent being a maho?
- Find a girlfriend/wife. :3

8. Do you watch sports? If so what's it? What's your favourite team and your idol to respect?
- Football, sometimes I would watch if I managed to find live stream of EPL.
Favourite team Tottenham Hotspurs, and Mauricio Pochettino (although he left/sacked already) for bringing hope in almost winning EPL/UCL previously.

9. Where do you live at in real life? Which city are you living at currently? What kind of house you're living at? Is it a busy town?
- Exact location will be confidential. 😛
I'm from Sarawak, currently living in a small flat next to a busy town area and working in Selangor.

10. What's your real life occupation currently? And what's the industry that you work for?
- If I have to quote from my official company work description, it would be "Application Engineer". XD
Or in common IT term Semi-Full Stack Developer, semi because I rarely involved in Front End development nowadays but was involved previously.
Worked in Banking industry as a software vendor.

11. What kind of transportation you usually use when you go somewhere else?
Is there any difference in terms of traffic before and during mco when you go for work?
- If not related to work, I would drive if the place I'm going is near, and take RapidKL MRT and LRT if the place I'm going is far.
If it is work related, I used to take public transportation such as RapidKL Bus, LRT, and MRT, all 3 types in 1 day during working.
After awhile I choose to drive to work after experimenting with duration taken to go to work and home for both public transportation and self drive.
Since MCO started, mostly work from home. But I would say the traffic condition still remain the same now, especially during peak hour.

Who will be in the next session? Stay tune 🙂 o7
