The reason I'm using my personal newspaper is simply because I don't have access to the MoFA one yet - the password isn't working. I'm hoping that all the other articles for this term will be done in the Foreign Office newspaper.

IRC channels for the eUK

The UK has two main channels, both for public access and both on the rizon network. Our public channel is #euk . This is where the day-to-day chat goes on. Our Foreign Affairs channel is #eukfa where foreign ambassadors and ministers can find myself, McAfee and/or Bohemond quite easily.

Under-Ministers of Foreign Affairs

Kapten Johnson and easyfj were both intended to be under-ministers but I had spoken to Bohemond about making them deputies instead and allowing others to take the role of Under-Minister.

About the Under-minister role

This month we're scrapping the ambassador role in favour of having a more condensed system of giving jobs out to those who are interested. Elements of the ambassador team we had will still exist in the tasks given out to under ministers but will feature less country orientated tasks. However, those interested will still be assigned a group of countries in which to oversee and I imagine those appointed to the uM role will have a lot more diversity at their hands than just one or two countries. Besides, more diversity could mean more fun than looking at a country for the month.

Tasks may include writing analysis articles, looking in depth at particular issues in certain countries (including information gathering), gathering decently written articles in other countries and finding out foreign cabinet places.

Applying for Under-minister

Send me over a PM if you feel up for it or comment in the comment section of this article. Tasks will be set by either myself, McAfee or the deputy ministers, so send us all over a friendship request as well!

And that's a wrap
A lot of the future articles will be published from the Foreign Office newspaper so keep reading that!

Thank you for reading,
