[MoFA] Statement on Japan-South Korea Conflict
Irish Foreign Ministry
Official Government Statement on the Japan-South Korea War
Date: 18 May 2010
Place: Irish Foreign Ministry Office, Dublin, Ireland
Due to recent expansionist measures by the fellow Brolliance nation, eJapan against a much smaller and way below par force of South Korea, the Irish Foreign Ministry has decided to release a statement regarding Ireland's own involvement in the conflict.
The conflict has been a long protracted one having it's roots in the 2008 Japan-South Korea War. After the latter was conquered then, the region was silent till the Korean Independence War in which South Korea was liberated before Jeju was again taken by Japan and later kept as part of a peace deal between the two countries.
The situation exploded again when South Korea made unlawful noises about Japan occupying Jeju even though they were party to it. So, the Japanese went ahead with their plans for invasion. And they managed to be partly successful until the Germans allied themselves with Korea. The rest, as they say, is history. Japan has managed to still go on and conquer many regions bringing SK down to two regions as of now.
Ireland does not legitimize this action and condemns it as an attempt to cow down a small country with view of expansionist motives. We see this measure as paramount to a British invasion of Belgium or Ireland. Ireland will not help the Japanese in any way during this war. However, this is government position and any individual willing to support the Japanese may do so at their own risk.
We stand by South Korea in all ways and like President Patton said, "I personally believe Ireland should help smaller nations like ourselves, not conquer them."
While we have outright respect for Japan, we cannot go with them into wrong deeds. Japan will still be our brother, only, he will be a slightly bad brother we have.
Thank You,
Ministry of Foreign Affairs team.

I actually agree with Patton here.
We cannot support Canada in France under the same grounds, no? Brolliance is strictly defensive, I am sure you'll hear more questions of this nature.
I don't see it being the same, Dan.
Canada attacking France has been a damage drain as of yet. The MPPs France has with Phoenix have made successful attack unlikely without Canada's MPPs being activated. There have been threats of France opening said MPPs and bringing the war to Canada.
France and South Korea's situation are quite different, SK isn't mixing it up in the middle of a 'World War'. There is also little threat of them opening Japanese MPPs as that would be a grave mistake.
I wish SK best of luck, hopefully Japan will see the err of their ways. Although, it is tough to make out fact from propaganda on the whole story, being outside the situation.
So your saying Preemptive invasions are cool under Brolliance charter so long as they're threats involved?
...do you think the Embargoes on Ireland were threat worthy enough?
..Perhaps veiled threats and National Goals of previous UK Prime Ministers?
I fully agree their situation is similar to Ireland's. I can sympathize.
What I'm saying is it can't be compared to Canada - France.
There is much more to this, the propaganda is weak, and the origins are well known to all whom have been resident out there.
Japan hasn't a moral leg to stand on. And eUS have [plenty to explain too, if anyone had the balls to tell the truth there.
(Unlikely)
Appreciate the official statement, I'm asking for this since election day. But the silence was deafening, ofc.
I think this is a perfect example of why we shouldn't be in Brolliance, but thats just me.
I was referring to Japan Cpl, not SK, so we can launch an attack on the UK?
And have the backing of the Bro's because threats were involved and we're, all together, the meanest dogs on the block, no?
Once we get over this "morality" and the "neutrality" issue we all seem to be having, we can get back to playing the game, and maybe, just maybe, doing something interesting like attacking another country.
It's called the "Socratic method" philosophy has nothing to do with morals.
It is tough for the world to see and understand but Japan's invasion on eSK has many intentions behind it. There is the gree😛 companies that belong to Japan that rest in eSK territories. There is the curiousity: Japan's organization as a military finally able to be tested. But lastly, and most importantly, there is the motive to help eSK.
South Korea has been overrun by multis and corrupt agents. By conquering them and leaving them with 1-2 regions, their congress is much more manageable. Also, what better way to bring a nation together then through war? eSK should become stronger by uniting together.
Prior to the war, eSK was a dieing state. It may still be. If this war hasn't sparked life in South Korea, nothing will.
eJapan attacked eSouth Korea because it was weak and prone to all the pitfalls of an inactive and disorganized government. Our leadership (country president Danyeo and others) explained the reasons for the war, and with this in mind, eJapan went to war with good intentions, partially explained here:

Will it turn out for the best? I hope so, but only eHistory will tell...
Hmmm......
Thanks for the clarification.
Now the eWorld know that Japan can into South Korea, a small country with 30 active citizens and 80 2clickers.
I LOL´D so much!!!
Well this is a complete turnaround from what Santiago Hortez said to me on my article yesterday. I'm glad eIreland still has SOME principles, even if it took some articles bringing them into disrepute to make them emerge.
Look at the top line Snap.
Personally I support Japan 😛
Great article, who care's what alliance we are in? alliances turn imperialist very often so let's hope the rest of brolliance doesn't agree with japan's actions as much as we do. it's actions like this that bring in new eras of imperialism and that's what we need to be stopping. while we may be involved in a pact with them, that should no way mean that we are to break our morals or principles. saoirse beo fada
ICA has been there, Bought the T shirt and is back home.
*mutters*
