[MoD] Training War Update + Supply Drop

Training War Details


Now that the United Arab Emirates are established in our western regions, it's probably a good time to go review our current training wars so everyone knows what to expect.


Romania

We're hosting Romania for a full rotational training war in our south eastern regions. They will move through:
London -> East Midlands -> South East of England
with us releasing each region behind them. The basic rule of thumb will be that we lose direct wars and win resistance wars. Any changes to this cadence will be broadcast through the usual channels.

It's important to note that they're also holding East of England on a somewhat permanent basis, so any RWs started in that region will fail.


United Arab Emirates

United Arab Emirates will be rotating through our south western regions in a similar manner, although due to some weirdness with how eRepublik has established the borders their path will be:
South West of England -> West Midlands -> Wales -> West Midlands -> South West of England
Similar to the Romanian TW, we will lose the direct wars and win the resistance wars.


Bulgaria

This is a simple "ping pong" war - we will win when they attack North East of England, they will win when we attack North West of England. This means that resistance wars opened in North West of England will fail.




What We Ask Of You

The main purpose of these training wars is to allow all our citizens to profit through earning battle hero, sky hero and true patriot medals fighting for the UK. A few notes on how you as a citizen can help make this work:

• Watch the country feed, the MoD mail and our Telegram group for announcements regarding when resistance wars need to be started - adding your support when the time comes helps the wars flow smoothly AND puts gold in your pocket, so there's no reason not to get involved.

• We encourage everyone to fight in order to earn battle and sky hero medals in ALL our battles - that's one of the main reasons for us running TWs - but if you are NOT going for a battle hero or sky hero medal, PLEASE make sure you're fighting in the battles we need to win. This will be increasingly important as we look to add more wars in the coming weeks.

• It's our intent that everyone should be able to profit from these wars. We have a lot of division 4 players and pilots, so some competition for medals is inevitable in those areas especially, but it would be better for everyone if we could all try to respect each others' attempts to pick up medals. We're even seeing people turning walls in battles we're supposed to lose in order to take a medal from another UK player - this specifically needs to stop for all our sakes. Hopefully adding more TWs will help alleviate this issue, but showing each other some basic respect would go a long way too.

• Lastly, fight all you can! The easiest way to become a stronger fighter, both in the air and on the ground, is to increase your rank, and the only way to do that is to fight, so don't let your energy reserves go to waste. (Hold on to your energy bars though, we may need those one day.) This segues neatly into the next section...



Supply Drop

To help keep everyone active on the battlefield, we're providing 10 q7 weapons and 200 q5 food to all eUK citizens who comment below. Go out there and give them hell - you were born to do this! (But obviously only in the campaigns we're scheduled to win, don't get too carried away...)
