A little earlier today, a proposal was made by a Brazilian congressmen to declare South Africa as a Natural Enemy. We took immediate action by proposing them as a Natural Enemy and signing MPPs with Hungary and Spain, a move which was purely defensive.

We have since learned that the proposal was made by a rogue congressmen, and that said person is being dealt with by the Brazilian government and military.

We are asking our congressmen to vote NO on the Natural Enemy proposal but YES to our MPPs with our allies. We value our friendship with Spain and Hungary; however it's in our best interests to continue negotiations with Brazil so as to resolve past differences with our neighbours.

I'm sure the President or Ministry of Foreign Affairs will release a follow up article; however the Ministry of Defense would like to assure our citizens, allies and Brazil that we have no intention of immediate war if we are able to come to an agreement.

The South African Armed Forces serve to protect South Africa and her allies from enemy threats targetting both her home land and allied territories. The military receives separate orders to civilians that are posted daily on the eSouth Africa forum.

Brazil had not much to do with it.
Hungarians left because the president at that time (me) made a deal that they would leave for 500 gold.

We are not free, Brazil is still holding our regions. Brazil is holding regions without paying any rent. That alone is hostile towards eSA.

A good part of Brazil still rather see eSA off the map and see us as a colony of Brazil. we have (tried) to make deal a couple of times the last month and Brazil did not keep your end of the bargain.

Well the SoE was probably issued because of the past between eBrazil and eSouth Africa. I mean, had the NE proposal went through and we DIDN'T call it, there would be some problems regarding who can do what, etc.

Though looking back, it does seem a little ridiculous, but that was when eSA had no knowledge of a rogue Congressman.

Evol, but what Guandalini said is true. SA is nothing, is a very weak country. And allied with Hungary and Spain, countries which sodomized yours, because were afraid. Brazil should have invaded the aluminium regions of SA before. SA is our colony, it's the dynamic of the game. But this problem will be solved, I hope. SA is a small and unimportant country and serves only to give resources to powers like Brazil.
