[MoCH] Empress Day Vote Extended - New Nomination!

(I am not the Minister of the MoCH; I'm just an volunteer that was asked to help run the event.)

The Nominations are in and it is time to vote for eJapan's next Empress. We have a total of 5 nominations, all images used were from the character bios from MyAnimeList (MAL) to keep it all on equal footing. However, I encourage and do hope to see those who nominated campaign their potential Empress. Voting will be done through google docs.

Thank you all for your continued support in Empress Day and the MoCH of eJapan.

Nomination of Tetora has been approved and has been added to the vote. Google docs will allow anyone to change their vote. The voting has been extended through the weekend. Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for the continued support.

Series: Oyasumi Punpun (Manga)
An eccentric girl who is the main love interest of Onodera Punpun throughout the manga.

Name: Chaika Trabant
Series: Hitsugi no Chaika (Anime/Manga)
A young Wizard who lugs around a giant coffin. She excels in high-precision spells. She's also sensitive about the thickness of her eyebrows.

Name: Hestia
Series: Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka (Anime/Manga)
Hestia is an energetic, kind goddess who sees potential in Bell. She is a hard worker, and works jobs to support the two while Bell goes off to the dungeon. Hestia tends to be shown as very petty and gets jealous easily.

Name: Okou
Series: Hoozuki no Reitetsu (Anime/Manga)
The chief assistant of Mortal Hell. She is very pretty and sweet. She loves her pet Snakes and is a Childhood friend of Hoozuki.

Name: Rin Orin Kaenbyou
Series: Touhou Project
Rin Kaenbyou is one of Satori's pets. Her job is to carry corpses to the former Hell of Blazing Fires to regulate its heat.

Name: Tetora
Series: Log Horizon (Anime/Manga)
Tetora is one of the players trapped in the MMORPG Elder Tale. She is a self-proclaimed "Galaxy Idol," and has the equipment to fit the part, but is rather bad at singing herself.

Its a tradition at Empress Day that you get currency or something else as a reward.
In this case, the money will come from me, though usually a propose and a budget will be presented before congress and the MoF. Since there has been very little time, this has not been done this month.

Another thing, If you label this as heresy and by that is saying that Empress Day is not something you would use your governmental budget on, then you are saying that an important part of eJapanese culture doesnt matter to you and that you as you not see why the government should support it.

Is that how one should understand your comment, Mr. Padre?

I don't see point to chose anime character.
Why we don't elect from female players in eJapan and their articles about Japanese culture? Not only anime things.. There is so many things to write about Japanese cultural history or modern on, do you agree?
I would like to give support to that kind of elections.
I was always believed that empress elections is something more than manga characters.

Empress Day has always been about the favorite anime characters of the citizens of eJapan.
The winner becomes the Empress of eJapan.

Anime and Manga is an offical internationally known modern culture of Japan. Its a serious thing and as this country contains alot of citizens that supports anime and manga culture, it has simply remained the most important event.

If we had to vote between female players in eJapan, we would only be able to list a few and the same will be listed again the month after - We do not have many female players, and if we did, none of them would post their real picture, so the results would be the same: Female anime character profile images - I like the idea though, maybe it could be arranged if they had the courage for such 😁

Yes, there are so many things to write about! Sophia and I could write an article everyday about a japanese tradition or culture related event, but we dont have the time needed.
