[MDP] Ever Forward

Day 1,823, 12:21 Published in Canada Canada by Muglack

As most of you are no doubt aware I was chosen to lead the MDP in yesterday's election. The membership of the MDP chose me because I promised a change in the stagnation that they have experienced over the past months. Well that change starts today.

The Coalition

Let it be known that effective immediately the MDP is no longer a member of the Coalition. Short term gains are never worth long term pains. While there may be some people in the party that disagree with this move, at the end of the day there's only one thing to say. I'm the Dictator. If you don't like it, there's the door.

Military Council

With the withdrawal from the Coalition a vacuum has been created where the "Coalition Council" once existed. My first act of leadership will be to replace it with a Military Council in the true tradition of the MDP. If you think you have something to offer feel free to send me a PM.

New Blood

My next order of business is something that I promised in my campaigning before the election. An infusion of new blood. The new MDP under my leadership is looking to expand and reach across the table. If you feel like you have something to offer a party which will focus on unification rather than ostracization then MDP is the place for you. Stop strugguling within a party with tired leadership that are set in their ways. While I won't promise that in MDP our voice will mimic yours, I can promise that all voices will be heard before a direction is chosen.

My Next Articles

In the coming days expect an article discussing the newly formed Military Council. Followed by an article on our congressional platform after my newly minted Councillors and I are able to discuss the details and a direction is decided.

Be nice to have the council back it hard served its purpose well in the past to bounce around idea's. Should be an interesting month revitalizing what was lost for my short term gains and unfortunate cut down in activity.

Took you guys long enough to cut ties.

Jacobi Day 1,823, 12:59

Well, you know at this point which party would you even be in a coalition with?

Jacobi Day 1,823, 13:00

Still, good luck. Would be good to have a non-Troll active MDP again.

That awkward moment when you wake up in the morning unsure who the person is beside you in the bed. Ouf, worst hangover ever.

I look forward to seeing MDP under strong guidance again

Zappie Day 1,823, 13:45

Looks good to me! I'm all for our party standing alone.

Foxfire Day 1,823, 14:06

Good changes. Voted.

''Short term gains are never worth long term pains.''

Unkem Day 1,823, 15:37

I find it strange the MDP doesn't want to continue their Coalition with Forward Canada or the Crimson Order.

Glad to see MDP back to its roots.

Like what I'm reading. Definite vote.

I-Bleed-Blue-93 Day 1,823, 20:13

You have certainly got my full support, especially after this Muglack.

I have high hopes for the MDP and it's future in eCanada, now more than ever.

Plugson Day 1,823, 20:42

Seems strange to say this but I think this MDP might have its place in the changing political landscape of eCanada...but probably depends on what the council wants to establish as its priorities.

Good work Mugs, best of luck, this is a sorely needed move on the eCan political scene.
