[Matt4POTUS] Where's the Rest of Me? I'll Tell You

Dear eAmericans,
And scattered CvPers,

I’m back for the time being again. I returned just before the PP elections, so I’ve been around for about half a month now.

Coming back to this game after not having played since June of 2012 here’s what I notice😛

---Ajay Bruno (RGR, GCL, whatever new names he has come up with) although having claimed to have had some grasp at power for some time, is off the charts after being defeated yet again and losing a large part of his Serbian voting force.



---The eUS has lost an alliance based war costing the country quite a bit of $$$

---Congress is fighting over taxes

---Josh Frost was President again, and so was Artela

---The Feds are now the #1 party instead of the USWP

And basically what I get from this is that not much has changed. Not that I’m trying to be a know-it-all jerk, but I see a lot of the same things repeating themselves. You can begin anywhere, but I’ll start here: A tax argument which always tends to be won on the “raise it” side, killing businesses and/or sending them away; this usually resulting from the loss or surrender of a huge world war that was started based on alliance tensions. In time, the alliance that the eUS is or was initially a part of usually disbands because after the eUS is no longer allowed to fight (due to the treaty), the other allied nations begin to cave to our rivals. In the meantime, our politicians who are eager to make back the money, start huge military cuts and start raising the taxes. It is also right around this time that Ajay, having lost his support group (the rivals’ who felt the need to troll or attack our elections), “disappears.” In the future you can expect the eUS CP administration to start talking about a new alliance that will be “completely different” from the previous one that failed.

Here’s something to think about:


They are all the same…and they all accomplished the same thing: one dirty cycle

And as for these guys:



They/He’ll be back, mark my words (and it’ll all depend on how the admins want to change the game mechanics that will decide how powerful he’s going to be next time.)

What’s the solution, you ask? Make me POTUS!
WAIT WHAT?!!!


That’s right, I did, and here is why:
When one asks the question “how is RGR/Ajay able to come back so many times?” the answer is simple: because not only does he have foreign aid, but more importantly, he comes off (on first impression) as the only one who has a plan radically different from the norm (almost similar to that of an RL Ron Paul) This, as seen in real life, never flies with those currently in the political system. Now that’s not to say Ajay is anything like Ron Paul, because in every other way they are not even close, but in the sense of extreme policy change they are. I’m not saying that this is right or wrong….my end point of this whole section is that personally I think this is sad. I was a part of the CvP multiple times because I wanted to give those who wanted real, almost radical reform, a voice other than that of the outlandish Ajay Bruno. Unfortunately, just like keeping an RL club together when you’re no longer showing up at the meetings, keeping the CvP around while I was gone hasn’t really succeeded either. That’s not to say I don’t want the same things for them now that I did then, because I do. I believe that by electing me as POTUS I can help bring that oppositional voice to the table without alienating people the way RGR/Ajay does.



“But you have just returned and haven’t even been back a whole month; look at your standings and XP.; you’ve been gone for so long there’s no way you’re ready”

Here’s why I think despite that I can stop the ugly cycle. I’ve been playing this game a long time (3 years with the hiatuses included) and I’ve come to realize that not much is different, at least nothing that talking to some old friends or advisors can’t fix. As I mentioned earlier, I can pinpoint exactly where we are in the cycle and I can tell you exactly what to do and what not to do in order to fix it.

Firstly and most importantly, LOWER THE TAXES and by lower I mean much lower, personally I like 5% for the work tax. I heard that this is too low for some and that 7% is goo😛 I’m willing to work for a compromise.


Secondly, fulfill our promise to protect our most faithful allies (meaning the ones we’ve had since ATLANTIS) and when/ if the larger alliance falls: stop taking sides and start bridging out to other countries through a bridge program that works similar to that of a foreign exchange program. By doing this we will make real in-game friends that will be our allies through thick and thin, making our foreign relationships last. We will also attract more players and businesses back to the eUS by doing this (raising revenue in the process). Friendly in game battles can be initiated between our new allies in order to keep the war module alive and the military trained/ready: this will also help to hasten the ranking up of lower level players, improving game retention overall.


Thirdly, stop fighting Ajay/RGR, let him lose on his own, knowing how he is, it will be inevitable anyway. He may be sneaky at first, but in the end he always gives himself away.
Lastly, as I’ve always said in the past, treat others the way you’d want to be treated and remember that it is the person behind the keyboard who counts most. I’ve seen great examples of this in the Federalist party and throughout my time with the Second rise of the CvP…Over time the Friend : Troll ratio has been improving. As POTUS I would help to keep these tendencies moving in a positive direction.




With all the other people out there running for POTUS with more pins and ribbons on their jacket I’m sure many of you feel I don’t have a shot. Well to that I ask: do you really want more of the same? Or better yet, do you really think they are going to be as different as they claim?
Give me a chance and I’ll flip this table upside down and make it a plane 😉

*Update: I'd like to thank all my supporters for their time and effort. Unfortunately this month is just not the right time for me to be running for POTUS. Luckily because of all of our efforts here today, I plan to run again next month with all hopes that eAmerica will be more secure than ever before and that we will be even closer to a new reformed eUSA---Mattoze5
