[KS4CP]: Policy Paper

Day 4,001, 15:01 Published in Ireland USA by Kevin Sheridan

November 3rd, 2018

Hello eIreland,

I am humbly presenting my candidacy to be eIreland's November 2018 Country President.

I've been around eIreland for a bit more than two years, served in numerous cabinets and various incarnations of the Irish Army in various capacities and functions.

The role of Irish Country President is one that I take very seriously. Under the administrations of Ante and Aimeisan, eIreland has experienced an exciting renaissance. This was achieved through a combination of balanced diplomacy with high energy players pushing capacity building at home. If elected, it will be my task to see those efforts maintained and expanded upon.

Major Policy Principles

1. The Nation's Armed Forces

A major pillar of both our international posture as well as increased community strength is the Irish Army. Under Slua, it has seen dramatic growth both in numbers and in quality. If elected, I'll work with congress to make sure the IA has the resources and national support it needs to continue growing and moving the entire community forward.

Although I advocate a National MU policy, I will be also pushing for an individual based support scheme for all Irish citizens fighting according to MoD prios, regardless of MU membership.

2. Foreign Affairs

A better army allows for more room to maneuver internationally, and accordingly, active troops require an active foreign policy supplying them interest, inspiration, farming and entertainment opportunities. In the last few months our strategic planning has been very well balance😛 an abundance of TWs with an occasional major skirmish, all the while hitting just a bit over our weight, being careful not taking stupid risks.

This policy will continue, we will remain loyal and committed to our traditional allies while trying to foster powerful new partnerships with countries we share interests with, focusing on mid-tier countries who share our challenges and advantages.

3. Community

Community building is all about high energy play and commitment. the IA has shown the advantages of using the Plato Foundation to accelerate such processes. with Plato support for the IA winding down, it is a good time to start thinking about a new project, possibly involving other allied countries (Aimeisan is showing us the great potential of foreign aid ).

We need to continue recruiting. We will launch recruitment drives in specific destination countries, we will try bringing back old eIrish players and we'll utilize the IA as an instrument to attract new crowds from all over the world.

The Ministry of Community will be revitalized, augmenting the great work of private citizens like Meds with extra activity and contests.

The Ministry of Education will refresh its offering, not so much because of demand from local population, but as an instrument to bring in new crowds and show national vitality.

Finally, Papi Don is using his unique talent to produce what is probably the most innovative Ministry of Finance in the eWorld. He will continue working his magic for as long as he is willing.

Cabinet

The core of the cabinet will be comprised from the hard working individuals who are responsible for our successes in recent months. We are still a small community and such expertise and experience are hard to replace. That being said, the compositing is not yet set in stone. Any Irish citizen is more than welcomed to contribute in any field, there is plenty of work to go around. I ask that anyone who is interested drop me a PM/

Thank you for your consideration.
