Last article, I spoke briefly about what led up to this moment … I won’t waste anymore time on that, I’m jumping straight into the here and now, that’s what is as important as the future we plan out … and along with my team, we will plan out a fair and prosperous future for all TRUE Americans who care about our country.
Now, this was interesting to do because I knew when I was to run, my VP wasn’t going to be just a figurehead for party support. While that’s nice, it’s not fair on the VP themselves as it can make them feel worthless and nothing but a tool for someone elses political gain. I’m not that type of guy … I wouldn’t want to build a legacy off using people for my own advantage.
I knew I needed a special person … I knew I needed a VP that wasn’t like the rest, and it is with a satisfaction I’ve not felt in a long time, to introduce to you all my Vice President!
NEW AZAZEL!
This was a choice that came late into my cabinet making. Like I said above, I didn’t want a patsy VP … I wanted someone different, and NewAzazel has just what I was looking for.
He was picked up by Custer as part of his efforts to reform the Media Team. At the time, I was focused elsewhere in the game to focus on the WHPR, but I have no hesitation in admitting that when NA made his debut, I took notice. Not many can follow in Custers shoes when it comes to writing the WHPR, I should know, I tried, failed and then made my own road. But NA has been managing it with what seems like ease … and that’s saying something! It's sometimes hard for Former Secretary of Media's to watch people in their old position do their job, because they have a different style to you and you sometimes feel it's wrong. However, I'm extremely happy with how NA is doing the WHPR and it's been a pleasure to read them.
So why did I choose NA? Because I wanted a VP who I trusted to be there to tap me on the shoulder and go “Have you considered this?” or “I’m not sure that would be the best, what about this for an alternative?” … He is there to help counterbalance my flaws and keep me grounded, just how he is. He is nothing short of an excellent sounding board, especially watching him do his Secretary of Media works, it’s brilliant. I know that with New Azazel as my Vice President, the nation and me team is not only gaining a down-to-earth guy, the nation gains some more transparency.
NA is a great writer, and to deprive him of writing would be ludicrous … that’s why you can expect VP articles from this man just like Fingerguns did under Pfieffer. I love this mans writing and I know he’s the perfect fit for any cabinet!

Yet you chose a Fed, the only party who's support you hope to be able to sway to win the primaries. Would it kill anyone to just be honest in this game when dealing with politics, that I could respect, lol.

Bia, if it was just because of the Fed vote, he would have gone with FG or Molly. they're a lot more visable. I've seen NA's work lately, and I think he's a good choice.
Never said he was a bad choice. I am referring to JK pretty much saying he was not chosen to get votes, which he very obviously was. Feds are the swing vote, it isn't rocket science, you know that dizz.
Remember, you even said it would be fed ass kissing month on Candor's article discussing the situation : )
And that is a valid political tactic and a smart one. However spending time trying to deny it was not wise, as it comes off to me as dishonest. He may have been chosen for other reasons as well, but a Fed was DEFINATELY chosen to gather Fed primary votes.
I never denied I picked a Fed for Political Support, that much was obvious from the get go with the other Top 3 running candidates it was going to come down to the Feds. What I said was NA is more than that, I picked him because I genuinely like him and feel he deserves a chance to prove himself outside of the Secretary of Media role.
Actually, your original line in paragraph 3 did infer your denial of choosing him for votes:

I do have two questions though, John, if you'd be so kind....
If you are elected PotUS and you make a mistake down the line, will you be acknowledging it, apologizing for any misunderstanding that it may have caused and doing your best to correct it? Or will you be denying the mistake and altering documentation to disguise it as was just exhibited in this article and subsequent comment?
We all make mistakes, how we recover from them is important in a leader. I am interested in your view.
You've already seen that if I make mistakes i'll admit to them ... I'm not about to change that just because i'd be PotUS.
