There was nothing , nada from the government for nearly 48 hours. It is reasonable for people to conclude, in this vacuum, that the government was MIA and then to ask for Dáil consultation when the Gov reappears with a "Plan"

This plan, it only came into existence after the NE vote was proposed, it was a last minute thing, hence the lack of communication to the dail, which should have happened, it was purely time constraints that caused this issue and one the present goverment should learn from.
