The decision to cross the border and enter the North was not one we took lightly. For days we have watched from a distance as your country proceeded to deteriorate into what we have deemed a crisis situation.



Your politicians were nowhere to be seen, your soldiers had deserted their posts and basic services were no longer functional - your citizens were vulnerable and none more so than our brothers and sisters who reside in beautiful cities such as Belfast and Derry.


In this world we call eRepublik, Ireland once claimed Northern Ireland as her rightful region. The clue is in the name; Northern IRELAND. In order to keep the peace and respect our neighbours we buried this claim and accepted that you would care for her residents as you would for those in North East of England and South East of England.



Recent times have shown that you lack the ability to care for the citizens of Northern Ireland. Furthermore, your ability to care for any British citizens is questionable.


For the betterment of Ireland, for the betterment of Northern Ireland's residents and for the betterment of the little british empire bake off people, Ireland will occupy Northern Ireland for the foreseeable future. We will remain as long as you are incapable of caring for who you classify as your citizens. Should your country and your government continue to falter, we will further intervene to protect the population.
