[Interview] The Legend of JuliusEhNozes

Day 4,220, 07:20 Published in Netherlands Poland by Shawtyl0w

Dear Readers,

Today you are going to read something about Brazil and of course the person who told me some interesting things about Brazil, "The Legend of JuliusEhNozes".
I started with an easy question which is vital to this series as I intent to publish these type of interviews both in the eNetherlands AND the country to which the interviewee hold citizenship. This will help me reach more readers and hopefully at some point results in the Media Mogul medal!

Hi The Legend of JuliusEhNozes, thank you for letting me interview you. Before we start, I mentioned that I would publish this article in both the Netherlands and in Brazil. Does the eBrazilian community read English or would it be better to translate the article to Portuguese?

Brazilians prefer to read Portuguese so a translation would be better. If you send me the article before you publish it I will translate it for you.

Because of this answer I decided to publish a Portuguese version of the "article" in Brazil!

The Legend of JuliusEhNozes please introduce yourself to our readers

Hi everyone the meaning behind my nickname is this:
Julius the reference of Julius Belmont and EhNozes is a Brazilian joke. “The legend” refers back to my favourite game, The Legend of Zelda. Together these three create my erepublik nickname.

A little bit about me, I’m 25 years old and I live in Goiás (The best Brazilian State), located in the center of Brazil. In my professional life I’m an accountant.
I started playing this game because I read about it in a blog. I was born in V1 (Please give us back the V1 game) to me this was the best version of the game (v2 is good as well). If you do some calculations you will find out I started playing this game when I was 13/14 years old (really young)... I’ve continued to play this game for so many years because of the friends I made and the fun I have within the erepublik community. Thank you eRepublik community: You are the best. I’m well known within the Brazilian community by the name of Julius, and sometimes I use a Julius avatar (Terry Crews when he plays the role in the series ‘everybody hates Chris’). So many people associate me with this actor.

You are a very old player but "only" have 21 congress medals and 2 country president medals, are you still active in national politics?

Yes, I don’t like to be a congressman because we need vote on our forum (In Brazil everything the government does requires congressional approval). Furthermore I like to change my CS in order to improve my rank (Ghost booster FTW). Changing citizenship often also results in me not running for congress. The same applies to running for country president. Even though I’m not active in national politics that much I’ve always been active in external politic. I frequently negotiate ‘epic’ agreements between eBrazil and our partners so that Brazilian citizens can fight in epics and win true patriot medals.

You've also collected many true patriot flags, what made you travel to so many countries?

Like I mentioned earlier I like to use ghost boosters. Also the combination of Legend bonus + ghost boosters is a great way to improve your rank.

What have you learned from traveling? Are there any countries other than Brazil that you liked very much?

Normally I do not stay in different countries for a long period of time. For this reason I don’t know much about their community and internal situation. I do however have friends in many countries. I know some countries will welcome me with a smile. Countries like; MKD, Spain, Bulgaria, Chile, Hungary, Portugal, Argentina, Croatia, Slovenia are all countries I think will receive me well. Once I achieve the rank of legend XX I’m considering traveling to all these countries once again.

There is one exception, a country where I am familiar with the internal situation. The only place I talked with the local community is Portugal. The reason I know more about Portugal is MEK (a Portuguese MU) I’ve made many friends in MEK and of course we speak the same language.

Does Brazil have eBrazil have active government/private/MU programs to help young citizens grow their accounts? What kind of programs are there?

Yes, we have “Flying kids”, this is a government program that supplies food to those who fight in aerial battles.
Next to that we also have “Alcateia”, a private project, they open RWs around the world. It is some sort of resistance hero network.

In the Netherlands we also have an aerial program however instead of offering players food we offer them currency based on the number of weekly kills. Next to that we also have a media program that offers a reward to the best three articles published in each presidential term and some times rewards are given for every quality article publication. We have a housing project offering free one Q1 house to all citizens as long as they keep their Q1 house active continuously and more importantly keep buying Q1 houses. Lastly we have a special program for our stronger players offering them Q7 weapons and currency based on their weekly damage. If any eBrazillian want to know more about these programs please feel free to write me a PM.

Currently Brazil is not part of a formal alliance but I believe you have a joint defence pact together with other countries in South America, can you tell us something about this pact?

South America is different (Geography, history, everything) from other regions on the globe. Brazil for example is the only place on the world where the so called colony became part of the larger empire. We have our own capital and all of us are Latin (with a majority being from Portugal/Spain).

In the game you’ve probably noticed we always try to be together. First is was the ALA alliance and now ANDES. Personally I don’t remember if we have a formal pact, but we always try to prevent fighting against each other.

Who are your best allies in South America and in general?

In South America I think Argentina is our best ally, we respect each other. When looking at eRepublik as a whole I currently think Hungary might be our best ally. They helped us to secure a region in Slovakia so we could keep our TW. This is just my personal view, but we have many countries who are friendly to Brazil and (would) do many things for us. It’s more complicated than just naming one country.

In my time as country president of the eNetherlands I once signed an MPP with eBrazil. We’ve not been close for a long time but several of our alliance allies (Orion alliance) have been known to sign MPPs with you. I hope that through this interview we can start to rekindle our friendship once again.
Thank you very much for answering my questions. I wish you all the best in the world.

Thank you for reading this interview with The Legend of JuliusEhNozes!

Yours truly,
