[HaliPOTUS] Changing Direction

My fellow Americans,

As has been a major theme in my campaign, I firmly believe that it is time for us to change our foreign policy, and get back on track as a country.

First and foremost, we will fix our relationship with our bros to the north, Canada. I have already begun to talk to my friend Jacobi, who is running for a 9th term as CP of Canada, and we are on the same page: Canada and America will be brothers in arms once more. More importantly, we are also on the same page as to what the future should hold for our countries.

We agree that fighting over the same regions in the balkans over and over can get repetitive, but the solution is not to cut ties with our friends. We are in the process of a much less radical solution to this problem, that we are going to present to other CPs once we know who those people will be.



In the discussions I have had with him about Canada, the US, and their places in the world, we have agreed one hundred percent. We are exploring all possible avenues of of diplomacy, especially now that TERRA is crippled. We are using a sensical approach to a problem that has, for too long, been dominated by people making unpopular decisions.

There are plenty of other ways to make the war module fun for Americans, and just because we are supporting the friends that have supported us for a long time, does not mean we are afraid of trying something new.

The man I have selected to help me accomplish these goals is Oblige.



Oblige is a multi-term SoS, as well as a four-time former US president.

He’s made mistakes in the past. However, he has experience, he will work hard, and he wants to see us change direction just as much as I do. So, until he does something to lose it, he has my support, and my full faith.

Similarly, I asked the following person to be my Secretary of Defense after I read an article in which he was totally opposed to what was going on at the moment.



Sgt Rock has been the leader of ST6 for over a year now, and I think his last article was one of the most courageous thing I’ve read in a long time. He stood up for what he believed in, and that is why I KNOW he will be a phenomenal Secretary of Defense.

And finally, when I started to look for a Chief of Staff, I needed someone that was hard as nails, as well as someone I trust.



Ghost Killah is the current deputy Chief of Staff, and one of my closest friends in this game. I have absolutely no doubt he will rule the cabinet with an iron fist, and get the results that I need in an all star cabinet.
