[eUSA] Halfway to Congressionals.

1. The Story So Far:

Recently I wrote an article about some problems I saw with our Party President Elections.
Since then, the first issue, inaction, has been addressed recently.

Since the AFA won the iNCi party on the 15th they renamed it the Euro American Union. Some Europeans in the AFA movement want to move another party into the Top 5, yet some don’t as you can read here. The AFA movement is disunited internally which is good for the rest of us. The last thing we need is to lose another eUSA party from the Top 5, so we got together a lot of folks from across the eUSA (CP, some Cabinet, some eUSAF leaders, CJCS, some JCS, some militia leaders, Top 4 PPs, some support folks from each of the above, and a few good citizens) to work this issue. We’re close to having enough people moved into the USWP and WTP to create a large enough gap to discourage any attempt to dislodge either party. We also have good efforts underway in some Parties and Military Units, and with some allied nations to increase mobile voter turnout for future elections. Most importantly in my view, we got the government, military, and politicians working together to prepare for future ATO efforts. We’ll see what happens moving forward.



2. Anti-Takeover Operations:

a. Congress Elections on the 25th:

The goal is to keep a big enough gap in member numbers between the Top 4 Parties (AMP, Feds, USWP, WTP) and the sixth parties controlled by the AFA. Most significantly, FriendShip and honor and Euro American Union. The first has jumped in membership recently, the second was taken over and renamed but didn’t change much. If either party moves into the Top 5 then we lose either USWP or WTP, both core eUSA parties. If they move a party up in time to block one of our parties from running congress candidates, it’s going to be a lot harder for us to bring that party back.

This is why if you are outside a party or in a small party you have probably seen request to move. We’re not favoring the big parties. It’s for defense. It’s in support of the national team. This is why we need folks to move to the USWP and WTP. If not now, at least by the 23rd. That’s my plan, as you can see I’m not taking a side in the endless fight between the big parties. Move back after elections if you like.

b. Country President Elections on the 5th:

The unity process will run as normal. I do not like it, but it is the only way to handle defense right now. I know most of the small parties are angry and feel marginalized. I sympathize. Years ago I ran a small party myself.

I know there has been much hostility and threats directed toward small parties. I know small parties do not feel they have enough say in the unity process. I can't speak for the big parties. I'm just trying to gather all groups in the national community to work together for defense. It's a shame if your small party was threatened for not complying with big party demands.

That also sometimes happened years ago and that was back in a much safer PTO/ATO climate, so I doubt that situation will ever change. As for the small parties making up a bigger portion of the tally in the unity process, an issue I have seen raised a lot the past five days, that's something best addressed through the unity organizers, though I expect if you are a small party they stonewalled you and expected you to be happy with scraps. There is a lot of arrogance going around, I see that.

There is also a lot of improvement over time if you look at the big picture. The small parties having a saying in a meta-election process came as a big shock to me when I first saw it. This kind of thing wasn’t even on the table years back. It’s a mixed bag, I get that, but I think the best way forward is for all parties, big and small, to work together in the admittedly flawed unity process, accepting the scrapes and bruises and battered egos that come with politics.

c. Party President Elections on the 15th:

This one is far away but the work starts now. Contact your Party President or Military Unit Leader. Let them know if you can be available as a mobile voter for ATO during this election. The last election we were stuck on defense; we need a better ground game to go on offense. This is something I have always felt is best coordinated by the military, but cooperation with the political parties is essential. We also need to drastically downsize the number of candidates on the rosters.



Regardless of our internal problems, the bottom line is clear: a few days action around each election can help secure us against PTO threats. This is all I am advocating. I honestly do not give a damn about the top four parties. I am not in one (except around the elections for ATO reasons) and I do not intend to join any of them. In my experience they breed tension and drama. That said, if we do not assist them in defense when necessary, by (1) bolstering the numbers in the weak ones from the 23rd to the 25th, and (2) voting for the unity candidate in-game even if we dislike the process, and (3) assisting in PP ATO, then we are giving up the eUSA.

I'm not advocating any big new plan. I'm advocating the plain old strategies that work by the numbers, which we seem to have stopped doing at some point. It's easy work with only a few days of action a month. It's easy to get outraged and demand respect before you help. It's also easy to hand the country over to the AFA and their foreign allies.

Anyway... yeah. There are some more topics I wanted to cover, but I figure this article is long enough. Give it a few days.
