[ESO] Every Single One: People before Parties!

Day 1,165, 12:19 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Artela

It won’t have escaped the notice of some of my regular readers that I appear to have moved to a new political party. This party is for those who are fed up with the usual Left vs Right tussles that appear to plague the game and the forums. It is for those that think that the people of the eUK should come before the “numbers pride” of the big two political parties constantly seeing who can best the other in a two horse race. This party intends to offer a new way forward, putting people before party politics. This party is…

I cannot word the purpose of this party any better than the co-founder and President of this party, jamesw, so here, in his own words, is more about the party.

But what can one party do? There are many things that a party can seek to do, however this movement is not about parties. It is about people. Parties on all sides have forgotten their purpose; to serve every single member of the country. Every. Single. One. Now, the name sort of makes sense, doesn't it!

I did not create this party on a whim, and neither did my friend, and "co-creator", Artela. The fact is, we are both tired of the back and forth exchanges between organisations such as "Compass" and "Aspect", which are mere consolidations of power for TUP and UKRP.

ESO will be a party which exists solely to further citizens enjoyment, experience, and interaction of the game. To ensure this, a formal constitution has been drafted, which will ensure that the party is strictly in the interest of representing the UK as a whole, and not subscribing to political allegiances.

ESO’s Mission Statement is:
ESO will remain a party which is above the mundane politics which have plagued our country, whilst being below the members from which every party attains their true power. ESO will remain a party dedicated to the interests and progression of its members, not itself.

All the best
