My Take

I know it's not all about me, but for a man of politics and an ex-active player I have to say something about this. I feel that there are 2 ends to the sword. I will start with point a. A) As soon as an immigrant(s) come to a nation, obtain citizenship they shouldn't be scapegoated. The fact that they have come to our nation means that they have come to better their e-experience, or another reason. But whatever the reason be they believe that our nation is right for them, so they have come here. They are considered Mehman (Guests) in Indian tradition, because they have come from another country. Instead of blaming them, we must look internally at ourselves. Why are we prosecuting them, and why are we mudslinging them. Yes they're background may influence their views but instead of finger pointing at them, we must try to talk to them ourselves. I believe there is no need for public embarrassment, because frankly that is what a lot are doing. Yes I accept the fact, that I am an NRI (Non-resident Indian) living in USA but I know Indian culture/customs/traditions, and let me tell you treating guests with utmost respect and kindness is a core value. So why ignore such a nice value in our culture? If we want to call ourselves eIndians let us act like eIndians.

😎It is my personal belief (Highly controversial) that once an immigrant comes to a country, they must work to assimilate to the country and understand the country. It is a new land for many, but learning how the land functions is of utmost essence. Bottom line: If you want to be treated like a Mehman (Guest) then act like one.
