The Country Presidential elections are over and that means it is time to start our long tradition of selecting eJapan's new Empress. During these dark ages of occupation and a deep divide in our nation we must keep some of the good going and support our cultural traditions, take part in this Empress Day, submit a nomination, vote, and even discuss. Lets keep our bright culture alive in these dark times.

After the rules below a word from our current Empress Charlotte Dunois as she prepares to depart from the Imperial Residence in Tokyo. (RP speech written by Oraizan)

Rules
1 - Anyone with access to the MoCH forum has the right to nominate 1 (one) candidate for empress. All nominees should be female. If you wish to nominate a questionable candidate, please present a public case as to why you believe they are acceptable on the forums to the MoCH before making your nomination. MoCH staff reserve the right to determine what candidates qualify for the competition.

2 - All nominees must be from an Anime Series (OVA/OAV, movies, ONA, tv series), a Japanese Video Game, or a Japanese Manga. Please no Hentai/Porn. Again, even if a character does not fall into this category, MoCH staff still reserve the right to determine what candidates qualify for the competition.

3 - All nominations must at least include a name, image, and the name of the media (series, movie, manga, game, etc) the nominated character appeared in. Please do not post images containing nudity. Additional information regarding your character is welcome. Please bear in mind that any of the information given in your nomination may be placed in any future MoCH publication or posting.

4 - All nominations must be posted in the nomination thread in the national forums.

5 - No previous elected Empresses can be nominated for a 2nd term. However, Royal Ambassadors, or previous runner-ups for empress can be re-nominated for a chance to be Empress. They can continue to be renominated indefinitely, regardless of how many times they have been elected Royal Ambassador unless they are elected Empress even once. Following that election, they are permanently disqualified from running.

6 - Empress Day Nominations begins today and will end at 00:00 eTime of eDay 1,912

7 - Empress Day Voting will begin immediately once the nomination period is over and will end at 00:00 eTime of eDay 1,914

8 - Campaigns for specific nominations are allowed, but the MoCH will take no part in the campaigns. However, the MoCH will post content from each nomination in a uniform format in a future voting announcement article.

9 - The person who nominates the winning Empress will receive ¥1000 and the remainder of the MoCH's miscellaneous inventory and donated for this month. The runner up will receive ¥500.

10 - The Minister of Culture and History reserves the right to change these rules at any time. The MoCH also reserves the right to disqualify nominations if rules are broken or if any questionable matters arise.

Bonjour, japan! I'm your empress, charlotte!

It has been a really fun month this week. I spent a lot of time in eJapan on vacation, and was ecstatic to become the empress for this month! Despite my past I have always tried to be as honest as possible, so I hope I was a good role model for all of you. Let me share some of the fun I had in this beautiful country!

I visited some of Japan's temples, and they let me try on a Miko outfit!


I found some chibi figurines of myself in the cultural store. So cute!

It was really hard to become Empress after Horo, and live in her shadow. I hope that despite your love for her, I have found a special place in your heart's as well. It will be sad to leave my many new friends and return to the academy, but I have responsibilities and friends there which need my attention as well.

I know you all have been through a lot, and I wish for you all to find happiness. Work together and stay honest, and hope for the best. I do hope you will be as welcoming to the new empress as you were to me!

Sorry to cut it short but I brought too much and must pack up everything (i bought so much souvenirs! X.x) in preparation for the new empress.
