Finally the good admins have decided to lower their eyes to our humble gamers community and our voices have been heard - Voice of EDEN is finally getting a tan on the Aegean coast. You can thank the Myrmidons for winning the ArenA and making you proud.

It`s been more than two years and still the oldest and the most famous alliance of the New World is alive and kicking (kicking enemies ass that is). Together with our allies from around the world we managed to inflict some serious damage lately. It seems that superior firepower is not necessarily the key to victory if it`s in the hands of those who lack character and who are cowards at their best. Our enemies are formed by a few ruthless power hungry sharks and a mass of humble servants doing their bids. But don`t take my word for granted, feel free to read what the ONE SG has to say about the failure of the alliance he rules over. So sad when you think of it...

But enough with the sweet-talk as we have important business to attend. In the following days we will come with even more surprises. EDEN is growing new branches and new leaves. But there`s no need to spoil the surprise just yet.
Tonight I want to present you with the new EDEN Supreme Commander Oles Kurivchak.
As many of you know, our former SC, Octavius Julius was military drafted in the Israeli army - the real one! - and he is unable to attend his duties anymore. So the EDEN Country presidents elected an interim SC to take care of EDEN until the end of December, and why not, even more.



I think all of us would like to know more about Oles and so I asked him to join us for a chat tonight.

Greetings Oles, for starters tell us a bit about yourself, about the real life Oles Kurivchak, and about the in-game EDEN SC Oles Kurivchak - your military career, your in-game accomplishments and so on.

Well, information rules the world as they say. In real life my name is the same, I’m junior research fellow at the Institute of Cybernetics NASU and I work in area of data protection in one national company. Got here accidentally, heard from a friend that Ukrainians are few and they need help. Registered, got involved and here I am - in your journalist studio. I had pretty rapid military career - half a year ago I was appoited as MoD of Ukraine and UArmy took 2-nd place in first ArenA contest. After this I was vMoD, MoFA and finally got to EDEN HQ as aMC trainee.

You are the new EDEN Supreme Commander. What are you trying to achieve in the month to come? What are the main ideas you would like to dedicate your time for?

I want to be in the swim of all countries’ desires and plans in order to judge their ambitions, needs and come out with common plan. Also I want representatives of EDEN HQ to be included in each country military channel so we can better coordinate our operations. Rest of ideas I’ll keep in secret for a while.

And now tell us a bit about EDEN. Where are we wrong and where are we right? What does EDEN needs? What is it that would make the difference in between EDEN and the rest?

EDEN - it’s creation of pure romanticism. It offers idea of Free Good - in a counterbalance to an idea of Benefit (as others do). So let’s make this epoch ours, let’s show them that their infantilism means nothing in comparison with our traditional values.

Now as we found out what to expect from you. What do you expect from EDEN? What do you think a regular EDEN member country should do in order to help our family blossom?

Let me paraphrase famous words: “Ask not what EDEN can do for you; ask what you can do for EDEN.”

“Winter is coming...” they said. And it really did! Not the way they meant it though 🙂
