The eChina Congress has undergone a review and modified the Citizenship Act. Below is the English version of our most updated eChina Citizenship Act. For those who are applying or is going to applying for citizenship, you may take this as the basic requirements.

On the other hand, I would like to make it clear that, the department normally accesses applicants within 7 days upon applications are received. If you do not receive any response from ECID officers, you may consider your application has been denied. You may pm ozzzkar if you need a brief reason.

About this Act

This Act is designed so that applicants can understand the procedures for applying eChinese citizenship, and complete the application form with minimal, if any, help.

1. This Act applies to all applicants, regardless of current citizenship, and the Immigration Office of eChina reserve the right of final decision.

2. The Immigration Office is the only authority to approve citizenship requests, all candidates, regardless of their national origins, positions, are prohibited to approach any congressmen of eChina to approve their citizenship request, except candidates who satisfies section (3)


3. There are two ways for native Chinese candidates to obtain their citizenship, regardless of their national origin.
i. Candidates can either submit an expression of interest (EOI) to the Immigration Office. Officers will access those applications, and inform Congressmen to approve their in-game qualified citizenship requests.
ii. Alternatively, Congressmen can approve candidates without approval of the Office, provided they have endorsement from two of the following three categories, which are President, Party President, and Congressmen.

4. Applicants whose native language is not Chinese can only submit their request through the "Congress Channel", the channel is subjected to monthly Congress resolution.

5. When the Channel is confirmed to be opened by Congress, candidates have to submitted an application form through before they submit an in-game request, otherwise they will be deemed as invalid.

6. Candidates have to be endorsed by President, Foreign Minister, or well known players of their current country, as well as native Chinese players guarantors.

7. Candidates is responsible to support the healthiness for eChinese markets, and not participate in any political activities in EC, including but not limited to Party President, Congress and Country President Elections unless anywise needed as per clause.

8. Any form of bribing activities are prohibited. Offenders will be blacklisted permanently, unless removed by Immigration Office or Congress resolution.

9. The following procedures will be run through the application process:

i. Immigration Officers will cross-check their in game ID against the blacklist

ii. A background check will be undertaken, including but not limited to reference letters from guarantors, current citizenship, battle record, friend lists, and their newspaper, to decide whether their applications should be taken to the next stage

iii. Qualified candidates will then be informed by Immigration Officers to undergo an interview though in-game PM, IRC or QQ messenger. The interview record will be retained for further consideration.

iv. Candidates' requests will then be submitted to Congress for further review if their interview performance is deemed satisfactory. Follow up questions raised by Congressmen have to be answered before putting forward to resolution.

v. The resolution will be held at Congress Forum, time frame can last up to 72 hours according to Immigration Officer. An application will be approved if it is passed by resolution with more than 50% of total Congressmen attended the polling.

vi. Immigration Officer will then inform Congressman to approval their in game request.

10. Applications will not be processed on or after 22nd of each month. Application will normally be proceeded within 10 - 15 days, varies widely from case to case, and be informed by the end of the month. Multiple applications within any 30-day period will be ignored and blacklisted.

Fight against eChina in any battles causing serious consequences


In the event of any discrepancy between the Chinese version and English version of the act, the Chinese version shall prevail.
