[eCBC] The eHour With CP Candidate I-Bleed-Blue-93

Day 2,602, 00:41 Published in Canada Canada by Acacia Mason

Good Morning eCanada,

Before I begin, I would like to remind you that there is a survey being conducted which will allow you the chance to help shape the direction the incoming CP takes. If you have not already done so, I strongly encourage you to take some time to answer this VERY brief survey. Your answers are kept anonymous so please answer with candour. The link to the survey can be found here:

January Presidential Focus Survey

I recently had a chance to sit down with CP Candidate, I-Bleed-Blue-93, for a fireside chat about politics, motivations, and his plans for the Nation if elected.

Enjoy!

1) You have been playing eRep since … what is it that keeps you engaged and heavily involved in game mechanics?

April 2010, I retired for some time before returning in the Spring of 2012. Community and Diplomatic Intrigue keeps me interested and if your going to play a game why not be aware of every mechanic?

2) You are currently running for CP. Having done this job before, what will you do differently this time around having experienced the role before.

Greater media presence. 100%. From many critics and friends that is all I'm aware was wrong with my previous term. Otherwise improvement in all fields.

3) Being CP is a big job and the time commitment can be astronomical. It is definitely not a job for the casual player. What is it that drives you to want to be CP?

Well I'm out of school right now and I qork mornings. So my days are basically free and January is after the busy season at work. So. January! Plus being CP is fun

4) You have served Congress many times, you have been CP in the past, you have been involved in various military-political roles. Is your heavy involvement in politics a reflection of your RL ambitions and interests or is it a chance to do something you would never consider doing in RL?

I dreamt as a child of being SG of the United Nations. So only time will tell.

5) If elected, you will be inheriting a Nation that will be either occupied,or just coming out of occupation. How does that impact your overall vision for January?

I have big plans that being occupied don't affect. So hopefully my dreams for January will be unaffected by our foreign, albeit unwelcome, guests.

6) Lets play a game…no pun intended. You have just been elected CP for January. What are the first 3 things you immediately act on?

Smooth transition of all institutions of the previous government. Immediately open channels of communication with all and especially important allies and other nations and post a thank you article outlining immediate plans.

7) There have been some tremendous CP's before you. Is there stress that comes from the optics of living up to the accomplishments of your predecessors or do you view each months CP as a one off and focus solely on your own legacy?

I'm not running for my legacy. I'm not running to outshine the others before me. I run for eCanada, and eCanada's legacy.

8 ) Lets assume you're not elected in January. What's your plan B?

Carry on with my eLife and kill some foreigners and ensure eCanada's place in this world isn't damaged by any poorly carried out FA.

9) If I asked you for one word and one word only that would best describe the character IBB, what would that word be?

Canadian.

10) If you could offer just one piece of advice to new players who aspire to be CP, what would that advice be?

Earn your shot and get some practice being Cabinet and Congress first. You have no idea what you are getting yourself into.

Thank you IBB and good luck in the coming Election!
