Sometimes it's hard to find just the right MU for you and with all the different one's out there, it can be difficult to decide. So we have interviewed CO's from some very different Military Units about what they're like and why you should join them.

We'll start with US Armed Forces Military Units

Flight Training

Commander: Fhaemita Malodorous
http://www.erepublik.com/en/main/group-show/431
Application: http://tinyurl.com/FlightTrainingApp
Public irc channel: #flighttraining

Q: How long have you been CO of Flight Training?
A: Less then a day, temporary filling in for Synesi who is having internet problems. I'm Flight Training XO

Q: What do supplies look like?
A: All of our recruits who work in our commune can request food and weapons

Q: Are there any requirements to join?
A: Anybody can join this MU, there are no requirements

Q: Why should someone join your MU?
A: All new Erepublik citizens who want to join the US Armed Forced first need to go true Flight Training to learn the basics. After graduation people can move to the Air force or stick around and become a Flight Training Officer.

Air Force

Commander: Roper 70
http://www.erepublik.com/en/main/group-show/743
Application: http://goo.gl/zS9Zn
Public irc channel: #airforce.office

Q: How long have you been CO of your MU?
A: Just over 1 month, was commander of bootcamp before that.

Q: What do supplies look like?
A: Start at 180 q5 food or 16 q6 tanks and go up to 240 q5 food or 34 q6 tanks. Members get to select option they want and soon we'll be supplying Q7 weapons instead of Q6

Q: Are there any requirements to join?
A: Join our forums, register on irc and take a job in our communes to receive daily supplies.

Q: Why should someone join your MU?
A: We are one of the largest and best MU's in eUSA, our members range from beginners to high heavy hitters and have a great officer corp. We also offer over 20 options of supplies so have something that suits all players. For those wanting a well organized active MU then Aim High Air Force!

Ultramarines

Commander: Artela
http://www.erepublik.com/en/main/group-show/19
Application: www.tinyurl.com/join-ultramarines
Public irc channel: #ultramarines on Rizon

Q: How long have you been CO of your MU?
A: I have just recently became the CO, not even a week past.

Q: What do supplies look like?
A: We supply communing members with 21 Q7 tanks and food as needed.

Q: Are there any requirements to join?
A: We don't have any strength or rank requirements but as a result of being part of the USAF, division 3 and 4 applicants are more likely to be accepted as compared to 1 and 2 applicants. We require applicants to take US citizenship if they aren't already US citizens, and join the in-game MU. IRC is also a must, and overall, we are looking for active members. Applicants can also check our application form below to find out more about other basic requirements.

Q: Why should someone join your MU?
A: “Ultramarines is probably the most relaxed branch of USAF in the sense that we dont have ranks or strict rules. Basic and simple rule is: use the supplies for the ordered battle. We have quite a number of former presidents, NSC members and government advisors so we are an experienced unit in the game as well.

If you are looking for titles, promotions and fame, UM is really not for you, if you are looking for a MU that follows the orders that are in the best interest of eUS and not much more, you're welcome to apply."

Rogue Squadron

Commander: Cerb
http://www.erepublik.com/en/main/group-show/201
Application: http://tinyurl.com/eusgorogue
Public irc channel: #RS

Q: How long have you been CO of your MU?
A: Since its inception

Q: What do supplies look like?
A: "20 Q7 tanks per day, or else a weapons/food hybrid. 99% of people request weapons only, though.

Our supplies are distributed by active QMGs and we'll even be bringing an IRC bot back online so you have a second way to submit requests."

Q: Are there any requirements to join?
A: "All USAF branches have designated 'turf' so to speak, and Rogue Squadron is Division 3 specific. That means if you are between level 30 and 36 in Experience Points, you are eligible to join!

Someone outside that range is also eligible, so long as they've taken the time to speak to the appropriate branch first.

Other than that, we require you have at least moderate use of IRC and the forums. These tools are essential for focusing our branch's damage and making the most of our awesome Q7 weapons!"

Q: Why should someone join your MU?
A: "Rogue Squadron is a Star Wars-themed branch led by extremely-active Senior Officers. We run contests and challenges, distributing prizes and rewarding activity and dedication! We have Star Wars challenges, kill count contests, and will be holding IRC trivia nights shortly!

Our branch has already risen to top 10 MU's in the USA despite being only a month old. We plan to continue the climb.

I encourage you to apply if you expect excellence from yourself and your fellow eRepublik players. We'll accept nothing less than your best, and you can hold us to the same standard."

Special Forces

Our traditional supplies consist of 4 drops of 6 Q7 tanks, plus whatever food you need. If you have more FFS, you can request an 8 tank drop. If you're tanking, we can provide supplies for that as well!

Q: Are there any requirements to join?
A: We're a division 4 branch that requires a Q7 hit of > 9,000 and high IRC activity.

We're always willing to answer questions and make sure you understand what's going on in the game, whether it be in the social aspects or with the game mechanics. National Guard

We also have two additional incentive supply programs, H.A.D (Heavy Armor Division) and H.A.D. Elite for those members who go above and beyond simple Daily Order fighting. We offer up to 26 Q6 tanks daily for members who gain 50+ kills in a day, and up to 36 Q6 tanks for those who gain 75+ kills in a day. We do have a couple Q7 factories now, and we are working on incorporating those tanks as efficiently as possible.

Q: Are there any requirements to join?
A: We welcome any citizen who is willing to fight according to the eUS DoD daily orders. There are no minimum strength or rank requirements, and though we have many ties with the Federalist Party, being a member of the Feds is not required.

Q: Why should someone join your MU?
A: Easy Company is one of the oldest eUS militias still in operation today and we are proud of that heritage. While we are proud of our position in the Top 5 eUS militias due to our daily kill count, our main focus is on our members and providing them with a fun environment and attempting to foster sense of community between members. We kick ass and we have a good time doing so.

Conclusion

There are lots of other Military Units out there to choose from, these are just some of the more well known Units in the eUS. If you had trouble deciding on one before, hopefully this has helped you decide on the one that's best for you. If it hasn’t, it at least gives you a way to contact those MU’s that most interest you and make the decision through talking directly to them.

Also, if your MU was not included in this and you think it should have been, please contact emdoublegee or Dr Luis Sentieiro so it can be included next time.
