Join the new world

Hello there.

Thanks in advance if you are one of the few people who will read all of this. I’ll try to keep it short. It’s another congress manifesto I’m afraid. I’m standing for re-election to congress.



Once again, I am delighted to be running in my home region of West Midlands. In previous times there was great sense in the Fortress London policy that saved our country on more than one occasion. Nowadays, however, there is very little benefit of concentrating the population in London and I’m pleased to call West Midlands my permanent home. I’d also like to encourage other people to begin moving back into their regions. It can only improve our democracy, not to mention the savings that would be made on moving fees (moving tickets are being scrapped and a fee of 20gbp per zone will be charged to move – this money will disappear from the economy entirely).



I am extremely active in game, on the forums and on IRC. You can contact me at any time and be sure to get a response fairly quickly. In my previous terms my voting record in game and on forums has been 100% and I have contributed heavily to discussions. Activity is important and is the very least you should expect from your congress representatives.

One thing I believe I must let you know before you vote for me is that I do not support eUKs membership of Terra. Don’t vote for me if you think that USA are the best allies ever because that’s not a stance I’ll be taking in congress. Instead, I will continue to support greater freedom for eUK. Freedom to ally with whoever we like (such as maintaining relations with Serbia and allying with other old Phoenix friends). Freedom to benefit from natural enemy bonuses. Freedom to have our own foreign policy rather than being used primarily as a shield for USA.

I’m also a long time supporter of invading Ireland, who we will shortly be natural enemies with. I voted yes (again). Terra will say that we’re draining damage from important battles but why should Canada be able to do the same thing by swapping with Ireland to deliberately stop us from progressing. Why also did USA think it was a good idea to MPP Ireland when they knew about our relations with them? Our congress made a decision to join Terra based on false promises and I see no benefit to us being a part of it. If Poland were to invade us tomorrow, we would get very little support from Terra. By improving our relations with our old friends in Europe whilst maintaining relationships with good friends in Terra (Brazil, France, Germany) we stand a greater chance of survival and greater freedom and involvement.


You know it makes sense

I will be running as a member of The Unity Party as usual. I have been a member of TUP since the moment I was able to join a political party and am proud to be an active member and former Party President (x3). I believe that every citizen should have the opportunity to realise their full potential, on a level playing field, regardless of in-game age or political allegiance and that the country should do what is best for the majority of its citizens rather than the few. TUP share these views.



One of my proudest achievements in eRepublik was the introduction of The Unity Food Programme around a year ago. It’s a programme that is still running and now provides a full gifting service.
