[DM] Back in the West Midlands

Day 1,219, 13:17 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by ePocalypse

Hello there.

Thanks in advance if you are one of the few people who will bother to read all of this, although I’ll try to keep it short this time. It’s another congress manifesto I’m afraid. After a break of a few months, I have decided to run for another term (my 13th if successful).

This time, I am delighted to be running in my home region of West Midlands. It’s good to be home! In previous times there was great sense in the Fortress London policy that saved our country on more than one occasion. Nowadays, however, there is very little benefit of concentrating the population in London and I think I’ll hang around here for the foreseeable future with you good people.

I am extremely active in game, on the forums and on IRC. You can contact me at any time and be sure to get a response fairly quickly. In my previous terms my voting record in game and on forums has been 100% and I have contributed heavily to discussions. Activity is important and is the very least you should expect from your congress representatives.

I will be running as a member of The Unity Party as usual. I have been a member of TUP since the moment I was able to join a political party and am proud to be an active member and former Party President (x3). I believe that every citizen should have the opportunity to realise their full potential, on a level playing field, regardless of in-game age or political allegiance and that the country should do what is best for the majority of its citizens rather than the few. TUP share these views.

One of my proudest achievements in eRepublik was the introduction of The Unity Food Programme around a year ago. It’s a programme that is still running and now provides a full gifting service.

I left the obligatory experience bit until the end. I’ll give you the short version:

TUP Party President (x3)
Minister of Home Affairs
Congressman (x12)
Home Affairs Advisor
Congress Advisor (since Jan ’11)
MBE
That’s about it. All that’s left to say is please vote for me on 25th March and feel free to contact me at any time if there is anything I can help with.

Dan Moir.
