Greetings!

Today I`m announcing a move that someone outside of Latvia/Lithuania might find irrational, controversial, unexpected or dumb, while everyone familiar with the Latvian-Lithuanian relationships and recent history would describe it as not surprising and logical. I`m announcing a move that would have happened more than a year ago if Lithuania wouldn`t have gotten wiped by Poland.

I am announcing that Latvia officially declares war on Lithuania

Obviously, since Lithuania is member of Orion, an alliance who in one way or another is allied to Pacifica, some might say that we are attacking our ally. No, we are attacking Lithuania, a country who we would attack even if they were members of Pacifica. This is not a surprise attack, all Pacifica and Asteria goverments were informed about the high possibility of this attack on multiple occasions before Lithuania joined the proAsteria circle. It was not a secret that this would happen as soon as Lithuania would gain its freedom from Poland.

We are attacking a country who attacked a member of our alliance.
We are attacking a country who played a major role in us getting removed from our colony.
We are attacking a country who cut us from our food bonuses.
We are attacking a country who talked our allies into replacing our MPP with our (now) number two enemy Belarus.
We are attacking a country who were plotting attack on us and even were dumb enough to ask USA if they would help them in war against Latvia.

Lithuania, we haven`t forgot, and we are here, ready for a long and grueling war. This is what you wanted so badly, this is what you were plotting for, this is what you lacked balls to do. This is a war that both countries wants.

You are enemies of Latvia,
You are enemies of Pacifica,
We are here to fight you.
