[Department of Information] Indonesia, Tasmania, and Press!

Indonesia
Over the last few days there’s been a lot of discussion regarding the situation with Indonesia. For those of you who don’t know, we’ve been negotiating a deal with Indonesia regarding a land swap. Indonesia wants Western Australia while Australia has been pushing for a region of there’s that’s a double, rent, and/or a MPP. Our Prime Minister, XG, has been diligently at work regarding this topic and we’ll continue to give you updates as they are discussed.

For the specifics of the proposals we recommend you check out the Senate section of the forums where it’s being publicly discussed. There’s also several debates in the political section and informative articles regarding it. So far though, no major progress has arisen other than the continuation of negotiations. But we have showed that together, Australia and Indonesia can be civil in regards to regions and bonuses, and given our past, this is a significant improvement in only one month.

From the Prime Minister himself, Xavier would like to reassure everyone of one major thing. We will NOT give Indonesia Western Australia without some sort of reimbursement. There’s been a lot of discussion on how weak this is on our part, letting them push us around; but we want everyone to understand, if we lose Western Australia, it will be on terms that we get something back for it. We have TWO’s support and CoT in the hope that we can reach something equally beneficial, peaceful, and make massive leaps in our friendships. And I can say, we intend on doing just that.



Resistance Wars, Chile - Aus, NAP
We want to remind everyone to stop sponsoring resistance wars in regions we aren’t schedule to take back. We recently had the problem of us securing Tasmania when there was no intention by the government to do so. This is a large annoyance to both parties and though it doesn’t break the treaty, it certainly doesn’t help anything. We’ll still get the 200k back from Brazil. We hope that you all will work more with the daily orders and stop supporting things that shouldn’t be supported. If you want more regions back, help Chile with their wars and we’ll be released our regions as planned and as the negotiations continue.

If it’s not government sponsored, don’t support the RW. It’s a fantastic waste of a thousand currency, your time, and ours.



Centre Link
Centre link is once again, back to Australia! We hope everyone will be more than involved in it and be supportive of it as we work hard to build our lower tiers and divisions. Strong and active new players provides for a better future and a better Australia.

Centre link has been sending out messages to all new citizens in Australia, including those born here, and ensuring to offer as much help as possible to these newbies so that they may be better prepared to grow and may enjoy the game as much as possible.

Information Revamp!
The information department is looking for ANYONE who would like to write ANYTHING for us. Don’t be shy, just shoot me a message. You don’t need great grammar or spelling, other people can fix little things, just some enthusiasm. We NEED some good people for a new project we’re working on and would love for it to be you. Message Irule777 immediately if you’re even remotely interested and he can explain more. We hope to create a new press team and hopefully a more fun and interesting paper for you guys to look at.
