Greetings, eAmericans,
It has been a confusing 24 hours for many citizens. Last night, a resistance war was started in Louisiana in an attempt to remove our ally, Latvia, from our borders. This was not a government sanctioned RW, and in fact was supported by our enemies. Fortunately, a member of our government noticed and shouted for citizens to fight for Latvia. This was the correct call, and there was an opportunity shortly after that to fight for the US in North Dakota if they were uncomfortable with fighting against the resistance force in Louisiana.
Since there are presently no open wars in our original regions, and many of the open battles for our allies are training wars, here is a slight change in priorities.
Priorities:
1: If a member of the government is shouting for you to fight against a resistance war, understand there is a reason for it. There have been many resistance wars started by our opponents in order to confuse our citizens and disrupt our plans.
2: Do not support unauthorized resistance wars. As appealing as that may seem, these can do more harm than good.
3: For the most current information, please join our Discord #strike-room, which is open to all American fighters and some allies. MU commanders can give you access.

If your opponent if funding the round, maybe pause and reconsider
turn off your scripts

How to have fun while occupied
When I joined round 4 of the Idaho battle https://www.erepublik.com/en/military/battlefield/125413
Sollam a Bulgarian Group Captain ** had the Sky Hero with about 80K damage for eUS
When I starting going for it, Sollam defended the Sky Hero and helped push the wall for eUS
I pushed him to almost 200K before he wised up and jumped to Bulgarian side
where he used a lot of EBs, air missiles and Q1s to do ~380K for Bulgaria (and take the Bulgarian SH from another Bulgarian)
He sent me a PM letting me know "Next time you're mine!"
I replied "thanks for helping the eUS"
Unfortunately the Bulgarians won the round, but it was fun getting a Bulgarian to fight so hard for the eUS 🙂

Information comes out too slowly. Some of us would like to grab our own medals and get our country back. "Sanctioned" RWs are only announced after round 2-3. And I've noticed our leadership fighting more and more for the other side.
I really don't like finding out in "snarky" comments between eKongressmen that this "occupation" has become a "training war" for other countries as well as an eWhale medal grabbing opportunity. Or is that if the eUS citizenry knew this was a TW for "Allies" and a "medal grabbing op" that they'd stop supporting and participating in RWs, leaving you all to fund them yourselves?
Apparently, there is no need to keep those who don't spend their day on Discord informed as to which RWs to fight in and which ones not to fight. I also have noticed a lot of the meta-lords fighting against American Troops for the medal and my friends feed is completely filled with the Medal Announcements....
Agreed, my feed is filled too. And our MU's leadership has had issues getting through the various level of Discord too. I get annoyed when it's 45 minutes to 1hr 15min into a battle... and no one but myself has fought in a battle, I've dumped my entire damage and some eWhale comes in and drops just 3-5 million more at the last second to grab the medal. That's not fighting for liberation, that's just medal grabbing... especially when the same eWhale then does it in 2-3 other battles too... flooding the feed (as you point out).
If this is now a "Training War Occupation" then I think that 1) we should have been told, 2) we should be receiving more eWhale paid programs to put up with this B.S.
Our leadership got their asses handed to them -despite having millions in War Reserve- and to save face the line has become, 'Well it was meant to be a TW all along so grab those medals -only eWhales and Plastic eWarriors can win- while you can. Don't worry if you need to fight against American Troops...after all, it is simply a Training Occupation'
