[CPF] Do the right thing

Day 2,135, 20:43 Published in Canada Canada by Randall Flagg 1999

Well I figure I may as well publish something to appease the huddled masses. These are interesting times we are living in and congress is going to have to come together to figure out how best to steer ourselves through these times. I of course am referring chiefly to the situation regarding eSpain, eUSA, and us. Our little NAP with eSpain bought us some breathing room to establish ourselves. However the recent foray by eUSA (and eMexico) in eSpanish territory has raised some questions about whether we should tear down the NAP and jump on board the 'murica train.

I too have weighed the option of joining in on operation Spanish Welfare Reform and jumping on the chance to liberate our regions still under eSpain's control. But now is the time for caution, not headlong charging. After our months long wipe, our focus must be on redeveloping our sense of nation and institutions. This is not to say we have lost our pride and dignity, but we most get our community built back up so as to restore the days where we could hit above our weight class.

Much has already been done and many have returned to eCanada, but there is more to do. I welcome the mudslinging that has started among the MDP and IPC. While I am no fan of bribery and PTO accusations, it shows our pulse is beating strong again. This is where the CPF comes in. We will be here to ensure eCanada is run in a level headed responsible manner. We follow the seven tenets

1. Uphold the equality of all active Military Units
2. Make the accounting of government funding more open and important
3. Ensure Canada is a reliable and selfless ally
4. To respect, recognize and uphold the supremacy of the mechanics of the game
5. Develop a positive political sphere
6. Bring in Canadians to eRepublik
7. To encourage growth and stability to the eCanadian economy

These guiding principles give us an ethical compass from which we have used to be a voice of reason in eCanadian politics. This is why I have been with the CPF for so long and continue to run when called upon to do so.

Does this mean we intend to bring sweeping changes? No, but that does not mean nothing will be done. Ours is the ideal of steady growth and empowerment. The best example being the continual success of the CPF assistance program.
On election day do the right thing and vote for a congress that will push unendingly for a stronger eCanada for all.
