[CPF] An Update and Primaries
Auk Rest
Greetings members of Canadian Progressive Front. I am here again for an update on the Party and also to announce the beginning of the Primary to determine whom the CPF shall support for country president on June 5th.
Party Update
First off, I am sorry this update came later than I promised it would, but not having a Congress did suppress some of my plans for driving the Party forward, and I determined I should save the update for until the Primary so I could produce a good sized article.
A final update on the CPF Census, the information in it was very useful and I hope I directed people in the direction where they wanted to be directed so they could help out more.
The CPF Clinic should also start going again soon, there was confusion on exactly who was in charge of the Clinic project and on the timeframe that people would need to operate by. Hopefully this will be corrected in the next couple of days.
As for the Praetors, the CPFs military unit, I have begun to get information on it and may indeed get them back up and functional again, again I am sorry but all interested in the Praetors will have to wait a little longer.
There was also an IRC meeting for the Party last Saturday. The turnout was not what I would have hoped, but a lot was accomplished and I hope to see more members attending future meetings, though I do understand real life gets in the way sometimes!
I am also pleased to see that the CPF will again sponsor a homegrown candidate for the presidential elections for June, which leads us into...
The Primary
Every member should have received a ballot from me with instructions on how to vote and a candidates list to select from. The recognized candidates in the Primary were:

All three are well qualified and I am sure Canada and the CPF will pick the right person for the job. The Primary will last for two days and the results will be published and the CPF nominee will be declared.
Thank you

Don't click on Shoi, he is a virus.
Pat didn't make the deadline?
"I am also pleased to see that the CPF will again sponsor a homegrown candidate for the presidential elections for June"
just exactly is this supposed to mean
problem with early prelims is that some candidates have not released there full platform yet (uh Shoi?) so how can the CPF make a educated decision here?
It means other applicants need not apply
One of the sponsors, yes.
Shoi and Oinyo are also given chances
still not sure what he means by 'homegrown'
Homegrown means a candidate from our own Party. One of my points when I ran for PP I said I wanted earlier CP Primaries and earlier decision for Congress, and that's what happened
that's a nice promise you made but sometimes parties are blinded for there desire for homegrown candidate, which hurts the country, which then hurts the party....to bad CPF is not willing to see past this
oh Maxi, when will you learn?
apparently not soon enough
