Join the new world

Hello Eire,

It’s been a hectic several days around here and I’m happy that some of the things we’ve been working on are finally happening. I have to say that this wasn’t an easy term so far, it actually reminded me on the good old times when no Presidential mandate was easy, they’d all have loads of twists, fights and drama. I have to say that this kind of term is the one I’m usually enjoying the most.

I had to make a couple of changes in the Cabinet until now, aimeisan replaced Hale Kane as a MoD, while Slua is still a vCP, but fairly inactive as he had to focus on his RL for a bit. On a good side I’ve found a vMoF to help me out with the finances, he’s very active and dedicated lad - Hazzard. Nothing will change when it comes to our goals, we’re still going to push hard to keep our country’s growth go on.




We’ve had some important changes since the last time I wrote which is the reason I’m going to add financial report section in this update as well. Considering the current economic situation in the global markets we’ve decided to start several operations which will hopefully make our balances increase greatly in the coming weeks. Most of the money we had is invested and tied to gold, or weapons at this moment. I won’t publish specific investments or amounts, but I’ll give you its worth in currency.

Two weeks ago we owned 3,8 million IEP. In the meantime there’s been one 400 000 IEP donation to the org. Day before the donation we’ve sent 400 000 IEP to two of our projects Congress has agreed to fund. Slua and aimeisan received 200 000 IEP each. Celadori got 25 000 IEP for the contest. The rest of the money (3,75 million) has been invested into products/gold and we’re still waiting for the prices to change. As always, I’m investing in the same things with the same minimum risk, it takes some time, but we always end up in profits. Except for the Slua’s donation of 116 000 IEP, our current balance is still unchanged. Taking everything into account we own around 3,85 million after budgets for our projects have been hand out.




I would also like to point out that we still have a couple of orgs which are availiable for the rent. You don’t have to be Irish citizen to rent an org. We’re renting them for a fee of 10 000 IEP per month. The only requirement is not to change its name. If there’s anyone interested, let me know and we’ll sort out things. January rent money has been donated directly to the treasury so I don’t have to keep an account on it.



We renewed our concession deals with France. They’ve been very respectful to us during the recent few events so we’ve decided to renew the laws. France is renting us 45% food bonus from their two regions while we’re giving them our 30% deer bonus. They have the 45% they’re renting to us in two regions so it’s fairly good deal for both sides. They’re giving us 5% of their food GDP, we give them 6% of ours back. Those numbers are decided by the game mechanics rule.

All in all it makes eIreland a good place to produce, considering our low pollution those bonuses multiplied by the region bonus in Cork & Mayo are quite profitable. On top of that all of our taxes are on its minimum as we’re trying to be a producers friendly country and attract more and more of them. Our taxes haven’t been changed for a long time, our markets are fairly good considering our size and I believe both consumers and producers are happy to live in here.



As announced in the last update we’ve payed for our two great projects - Irish Army and Air Project. Irish Army’s budget is being used to reward DO’s done with 200 IEP / DO. Air Project pays 5 IEP / air kill to all the participants. Any Irish citizen is more than welcomed in both of those groups and we’d be happy to keep increasing the number of people taking part in them. It means that any Irish citizen can make around 10 000 IEP a week just by following the Government orders, without using bars or being extremely active. For increased activity there's an increased reward too.

Both projects are very valuable as they give the money back to the community, they reward loyatly and make everyone follow the priorities. It makes Ireland a great contributor, great ally and very unique country in this aspect. My plan for the coming weeks is to propose increasement of budget in the Air Project as there are many new fighters coming in. With a bigger population we’re getting bigger incomes, so we can give more money back to the people who make this country as great as it is. Our daily incomes have been increased during the past several weeks for more than 10%, same as our population.



Before he left Slua has approached eBelgium regarding our potential Training War with them. After he left Belgium representative has contacted me and we’ve proceed to the negotiations about the war. We’ve had a really nice and easy discussion and agreed to the terms I’m fully publishing below.

I’d like to thank the Belgian Government for being approachable and I’m looking forward to the TW. Irish citizens will from now on have more place for medals hunting, fighting and ‘farming’. May the luck be with you, get yourself stronger & richer so you can serve the country in much better shape. I’m personally looking forward to win several SH medals over there.

As already mentioned we have to follow the trend in here. We’re constantly bringing new citizens in, offering them a happy home in a great community. Government needs to be able to keep up with those changes which is why we’re increasing the budgets, organizing more training wars and working on improvements. Our goals remained unchaged, we’re looking to increase the population and improve the relations within the community.

We’re still able to organize a TW with Austria as well, but that’s gonna be decided in the coming days, after we see the impacts of the Belgian TW. Stay in touch...




Yesterday another impeachment law has been proposed. Let me get something clear - I’m always happy that congress uses its tools of democracy given by the game mechanics. I don’t mind being questioned for a one reason or another. Last time it was a lack of trust, this time is different opinions on RL politics which has nothing to do with eIreland, or Erepublik, but if it’s a valid reason for a congressmen - that’s absolutely fine. However, threats being sent with RL mentioned isn’t really what I can understand. I’d never threat anyone in this game, that’s not my game or something I’d ever support. But if you threat me, then I suggest you to be ready for it.

eIreland is a great country for several reasons, one of those reasons is that we don’t divide ourselves because of the parties we’re members of. It’s been like that for years and it made our parties irrelevant. That was no internal political divisions could harm our growth and we really improved a lot since then. I’m very happy to include anyone in the Government, I didn’t even check the parties my Cabined members belong to when I included them. I think we’re very inclusive country in all the aspects of the game. It makes no difference what’s your RL ideology, your eParty or your opinions from RL if you’re willing to serve eIreland. I don’t always agree with everyone, but if the person I don’t agree with has good intentions and present them in a nice way I’ll always support them. Same is expected from everyone in here.
