Hello all,

Thank you very much to everyone who voted for me. It sure did feel good seeing all the votes and I am very grateful for your support.

In the future all updates from me will be coming from the Country President Org. If used by future CPs this will hopefully give a way for us to keep an archive of past updates by CPs. I also promise future updates will have some pictures to keep you distracted from the words.

Now I need to get to work ensuring that we all have a great month. I understand the responsibility I have taken on and that now over 2,000 peoples eRepublik experience is quite closely related to my performance. I do not plan to let you down.

Without any further a do I would like to release my cabinet for you!

I shall start with my old hunting ground.

The Ministry of Finance

I needed to make sure that I had a strong steady hand to take over my responsibilities after the month I have just been through. Orgs were secured and money was made fully public again along with our spending, this will of course continue and I have selected someone who will take this ministry further than I was able to.

My Minister of Finance is: Emergy Maxfell

He will be getting support from: Sharp83, Elvis Trout and Longshotzz.

The Ministry of Defence

As detailed in my manifesto I have a few new things that I am bringing to the MoD this term. However the main plan is activity and structure. I have three MoD's who will be ensuring that the orders are up to date while also completeing their own targets over the month. They will also be training up the dMoDs so that we have more future MoDs capable of the role!

My Ministers of Defence are: Madacaion BigAnt Rfeist

They will be supported by: Sausage, Joshasourous, Dnouser and T White

The Ministry of Home Affairs

I do not have to write much for this one! It is basically already done!

I do note I have one other position within this ministry.

This is an individual who I was very impressed with in the past. During his time in government (a cabinet I was also in) I saw his work ethic once correctly motivated and to be honest he was the star of that month for me.

My Minister for Recruitment for this term will be: Goku Jones

Ministry of Health

I want to push the NHS as far forward as I can this term. I received a minor set back early on as the individual I had discussed this push forward with pulled out of the running for the position. I have since had discussions with others and believe I have now finalised this ministry.

Minister of Health: Zaphod

Supported by: Fedira, Dr Kawishiwi, Draconius, Alan Warwickshire and Madelina de Melrose.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs

As I mentioned in my earlier articles this is a position I am weak in. I have pulled in the big guns and have a two man team with ten CP medals between them. They have already acted quickly to competition and secured quick discussions with Germany about a war for this coming competition.

My Ministers of Foreign Affairs are: Jamesw and Talon Karrde

They will be supported by: McAfee01, Ash Brandon, Alphabethis and iGuy

I am very aware that this is a large cabinet. I have three policies that I will be using during my term.

1) Don't keep people in the dark - Not only do I want everyone to have the opportunity to get involved in Government and maximise the fun they get from this game but I also want to keep everyone fully informed.

2) Activity and Hard Work - Whoever puts the effort in will impress me. That is how I have always been and that is how I will continue to be. If my ministers work hard, I will be a happy man.

3) Political Neutrality - I hate everyone who isn't in the mighty Carlini's Avengers equally. I will not consider which party you are in when talking to you, considering your idea or looking at your application for government. It means nothing to me. If you see any of my ministers trolling then please send me a PM. I will do my best to rectify the situation.

War

As soon as this new competition was announced I knew we needed to do something. This competition is almost perfect for the eUK. In the past we have faltered in these competitions due to pride we have built up for our Military Units. These are not involved in this one and we can push together as a single unit for the eUK.

I was unable to hold any talks straight away as I was at work but our MoFA team were right on it. They got discussions rolling with different countries to see what our possibilities were.

In the end it was agreed with the MoFA and MoD teams that we would declare Germany as our natural enemy. This has of course been sanctioned with TWO.

I thought it would possibly take a bit longer than my first day for this. Oh well, to war!

This will be purely for the competition and as a way to boost our damage to up our rewards. I am also hoping that given our real life ties to Germany (damn Germans dominating football right now!) we might be able to gain a few new citizens from it with a bit of recruitment!
