[CP] TA IRELAND, SUPPLIES, LOANS etc

Day 3,511, 04:26 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by CptChazbeard
Dear Peasants,

It's safe to come out from behind the sofa now, the Irish are gone! Yes today marks the day that after the best part of two months the UK is no longer at war with Ireland and we both have all of our core regions in tact. The curtain has drawn on this comedy of errors and we can start pretending like it never happened.
Thank you

I'm not going apologise for any of the errors of this war, things like battles opening in the wrong regions due to auto-attack and any underhandedness – perceived or otherwise – happened a wee while back and the government paid the ultimate price. Also any reasons for which the Irish deserve an apology, namely misinformation or lack of any information, could be extended to the UK's general population who walked through this campaign blindfolded at times.

Instead I wish to thank the Irish for their discipline in helping to close this chapter and the Irish government for being understanding to the position we found ourselves in. Seemingly the Irish government had more knowledge of what the UK and her allies were up to than we did ourselves.

Not only this but I am grateful to Ireland for allowing us an opportunity to score some true patriot points at a time when we had little to no opportune to do so elsewhere.

Overall. Bravo Ireland and in particular their CP RustyD.

I would also like to thank the UK's fighters for sticking to orders and to congress for sticking to the peace process. Not one rouge NE!

The original training war was opened in an attempt to attempt to build bridges and heal some wounds still open from the last time the UK was gangbanged. By bringing this chapter to a close it's not too late to still do so.

Now the war with Ireland is over we go back to helping out allies. Although the MoD will keep you updated where to fight and the Campaign of the Day will usually be set to our top priority, use a bit of common sense and if one ally is winning heavily and another struggling, please opt to fight for the ally in greater need.

It would be nice to have a bit of a conflict somewhere and I'll look at some option, though ultimately that would be a call for the next government to make. Experience tells me that in the last week of a term most governments start winding down and wish for the next term.

Supplies, Loans and Mails

I'm in the process of starting up direct mails for our top fighters and commanders to keep them up to date as efficiently as possible.

On top of that, with little time left in the term and no war, I'm going to experiment with a new supply system. Basically you have to fill out this form and supplies will be delivered weekly. I'll await to see how much take up there is but the plan is to have a three tier system based on activity/kills, also players who only want food and no weapons would get more food in their supplies and vice versa.

**Training ground loans. We can't say for certain that they will appear but training ground upgrades usually begin in a few days time. Included in the form is an option to apply for a government loan to help players upgrade their training grounds. There is certain criteria that needs to be met in order to qualify and you will be informed of any decision either way.**

Right, that's it for now and I'm off down the pub. If anyone invades can you tell them to wait until I'm back.

Hugs n Kisses
