[CP] Recapitulation

Day 4,478, 00:00 Published in Netherlands Netherlands by Het Catshuis

Greetings citizens of the eNetherlands,

as the end of the term is approaching, it is good to recapitulate, what has happened thus far during this term.

- We have managed to lower Work Tax to 1%. The observations thus far show, that our daily income has not dropped below the critical line of 10 000 cc per day; in fact it curently stays above 15 000 cc, which is better than I expected. Therefore unless there will be some major drops in the upcoming week, the government will start the debate to lower VAT taxes on Food and Weapons, in order to support our producers, who are trying to sell their goods on our market for competitve prices.

- We have managed to accept several law reforms, reducing the obsolete parts of our legislative bureaucracy. I would like to thank Congress for their support in these reforms, and be sure we will have some more to come after the Congress elections for the new Congress - because the work on the law is far from over. We also encourage other Congress Members to join our goal of clean and effective Lawbook with their own proposals 😉 .

- Recently, we have widened the range of our battles by making a successful Airstrike to Egyptian regions, where we will participate in a train wars together with our partners of Macedonia, Bulgaria and Lithuania. So please focus your attention on the battles there, so the operation goes as smoothly as possible. Given the fact we have to wait another 14 days for new Airstrike to be launched, we do not expect any other significant changes in our battle scheme - however we are always looking for an option to strike, in order to help our allied efforts.

- Speaking about allied efforts, Asteria and Hydra are on the roll, not only keeping their pressure in Turkish and Greek regions (and Balkans, naturally), but also reaching to China and disrupting CODE operations in that country. After the loss of India, this is another major blow to CODE farming grounds. We have also seen some heavy fighting in South Africa (another unwilling participant in CODE), culminating in failed Irish airstrike yesterday on the only free South African region. We will be monitoring the situation around South Africa closely, given the fact few of our previous Airstrikes were also connected to that region.

In the end, I would like to ask ALL citizens, who have not applied for Congress elections, to do so. So RUN FOR CONGRESS! Given the fact we will have 40 manned Congress next term, it is important to fill as many seats as possible to make the voice of the Congress strong!

The concerned Country President of eNetherlands
