[CP] Operation Iran: A Sudden End

Dear citizens of the eNetherlands,
Last night a grave mistake ensured the end of Operation Iran for the Netherlands. Two campaigns were active that had a decisive outcome for the Netherlands in the Irani regions.
The campaigns "Iran vs Russia" and the "Netherlands vs Romania" were supposed to end in a specific order.
First the campaign Iran vs Russia should have ended but last night Iran lost round 8 (air round) and lost some points in round 10 and 11. These points won by Russia meant that the campaign would last longer than the campaign between the Netherlands and Romania.
The campaign between the Netherlands and Romania was started off to a good start. The Netherlands managed to score some points delaying this campaign as to ensure the campaign between Iran and Russia didn't end at a later time. The Netherlands last won some points in the round ending at 2 AM this morning. With Iran looking good all was set for the continuation of Operation Iran.
When I woke up this morning Romania had won the campaign as planned but as described above Russia had scored so many points that their campaign was still active. This meant that the campaign the Netherlands had queued behind the Russian campaign had no time to start ending our presence in Iran.
Mistakes happen all the time, we have to learn from them. This time I believe it was scripts that caused the failure of our plans.
We tried to help Iran launching an airstrike and coming to their aid when they needed it most. In the end Operation Iran was shorter than hoped but the Netherlands proved something important. We are there for our allies and not afraid to risk it all.
Currently we are wiped off the map and we will try to restart our training war (TW) with Poland. Once that has been realised we will decide if we fly back to Estonia and continue our TW with them as well.

Either way, I believe we all did our best in this endeavour. Whether or not during planning, or on the battlefields. And I hope it overall boosted our international image, and proved, that if we consider someone a good ally, we will be there for them even willing to take a risk, if necessary. And that is what this is all about 🙂 .
