[CP]: Government Efficiency

Day 1,234, 20:01 Published in Austria Austria by Albert Neurath

Citizens of Austria:

One thing that I find especially important for a country is to have an efficient government. Although Austria has avoided problems of efficiency, I have seen many countries fall apart because their government stopped working in the best interests of the people. In order to make sure that this government runs at peak efficiency, I am instituting the following measures:

1. Deputy Directors who perform their jobs to the dissatisfaction of their Director will be warned once by that Director. If the problem continues, they will be removed from their Directorate, and not allowed into the government for a period of two months after their expulsion. Although I will not be CP in two months, I plan on asking whomever my successor is to keep this policy in place.

2. RL sometimes gets in the way of the game, which can be a problem. If a Sub-Director or Director feels that RL will prevent him from discharging his duties, he may request a leave of absence for however long he feels is needed. A suitable replacement will be found for that period of time. If, however, a Sub-Director or Director does not perform his duties without any notice for a period of more than two days, he will be assumed to have fled his duties, and will be blacklisted as above. If, however, the missing government official can provide a suitable excuse for his absence, they will be removed from the blacklist.

3. Citizens are encouraged to send PMs to Directors or to my if they feel that a Directorate is not being run well. Remember, this government exists to keep the country strong, and to do justice by its constituents.
