Dear citizens,

We did it! As one of the few countries in Europe we have managed to secure all resources in the food industry and the time has even come to accrue even more (i.e. Limestone). This means that in the future you will be able to produce food at prime efficiency at home in Amsterdam, as well opens the doors for foreign friends to invest here as well.

The fight has been long starting from Day 1. Even over the abundant resources such as fruit, fish or cattle we saw plenty of people out there trying to sabotage us. After all these struggles we can safely say that we quickly achieved what we aimed just before the event. I'd like to thank people such as Fmcv, Weekstrom and Shawtyl0w who aided me for many, many hours - often in the middle of the night too. Also a big thank you to our allies of Hydra in particular which has properly prepared and supported the Netherlands in this success.


Did you know that in real life, the Netherlands is famous too for its food and agricultural production? Not particularly in the matter of taste (although the above bitterballen are yummy), but more so in the quantity. It's only right that the eNetherlands claims that prize too!

While much of our goals has been reached, the 'event' is still on. We will try to pick up the rare resources we can, as well as consider together with friendly nations if they have any need for a particular resource. This way we can ensure both a 100% food production as well as a continuation of concession money we enjoyed prior to the event. For our citizens it is especially important to continue fighting during the event and claim the factory reset tokens that allow you to freely reset the location of your companies: You will most likely need it after the end of the event!
