[CP] End of Term...
King Trito Fisher
Citizens of the Republic,
This is my end of term address. First of all, I would like to thank BiednyMis, a true hero of eIreland, for providing us with over 2 billion in damage in our victorious war with Uruguay. Without him, we would have surely lost.
About the war...
After both Uruguay and Ireland landed in NZ, each, without the other's knowledge, had finally chosen NZ as a target for a real war. Once we were both there, the Dublin Commune decided to rid NZ of Uruguay in order to have a TW in NZ, along with maintaining a strategic position in the Pacific. And so the war began...
Uruguay put up massive CO's, spending hundreds of thousands of CC, and we also had to spend a lot in order to win, but in the end, our victory does not come from money, for they had much more than we; it comes from the relentless commitment from such soldiers as BiednyMis, Nerusia, Technician, BickUA, CoB, Moo, Don., Sluagh, etc. as well as such excellent allies as Albania, Russia, Bulgaria and Macedonia. Without everyone, we could not have done it. I'm still in awe of what we went through. (Epic battles!!!)
However, although I am extraordinarily happy to see eIreland victorious, I was also saddened to see WHS and his cronies, the LPA, fighting AGAINST eIreland. It seems that they have descended from ineptness to traitorous behavior....
For the future:
Ireland will now have TWO training wars, one here in Ireland with Albania, where we WIN RWs AND LOSE DIRECT WARS, and one in NZ where we WIN DIRECT WARS AND LOSE RWs. New Zealand should win the first RW, please let them win. Also, we have considered raising the work tax to 2%, please comment below with thoughts on this. A new Dublin Commune will be made tomorrow to include even more active soldiers and citizens of eIreland.
And... We're trying to increase immigration to eIreland to boost productivity and military power.
It's been truly an honor to be your president this month.
Until next time,
-Trito

On increasing work taxes ... it doesn't impact me, because I didn't place factories there (though I seriously considered it), but if I had, I would be pretty ticked off to see taxes increased at this point, because low taxes was the main selling point for drawing businesses to Ireland, and the low taxes were sold pretty hard as I recall. People who placed factories can't move them without massive expenditure, so maybe they will just grumble but pay, but it could cause worse than grumbling in some people. Just my two cents, as someone who doesn't matter but for some reason still reads Irish news on occasion ...

Thanks for the great term. Well done.
So a puppet says he did a good job?
He didn't and we all know he was just the face but Moomoohead is the button pusher shaming this eCountry
Good job Trito! Much appreciated
"Uruguay put up massive CO's, spending hundreds of thousands of CC, and we also had to spend a lot in order to win, but in the end, our victory does not come from money, for they had much more than we;"
After adding the money spent on COs on both URU-IRE campaigns it is clear that IRE spent way more (actually ~3,22 times more) money then URU did. Everyone spends the money he wants to spend and there is nothing wrong in that, but there is no need to lie about it. 😁

Those are approximations, they are for sure a few thousand cc away from the real amount of money spent, but they're close to the right number.
We can see the COs set on erep-de:
https://www.erepublik-deutschland.de/en/tools/battlewatcher/detail/86569
https://www.erepublik-deutschland.de/en/tools/battlewatcher/detail/86633
On progression one can see how much was spent from the CO that was set.
Once again, not criticizing you guys for spending money, nothing wrong in that. But there is no need to paint Uruguay as the bad boy spending a crapload of money if you guys spent over 3 times more then they did.
And looking at the budgets, you had way more money. 😁 I can't see any 6 digit CO from Uruguay, whereas you guys even had a 800k one (from which only 30k where spent, but it shows you had money to play with).
We never tried to paint anyone as the bad guy...
See comment below, after that few battles we stopped blowing money in lower div, all the money spent there you won every point.
Andre is right, we bought this war and his numbers are correct if not a little low for our side. Urugay had more support, tactics, and organization. We had Biedy and CO. We underestimate Urugay and that will never happen again. In the past Irrland was always the small country that hit above its weight, Urugay was the best small country I can Rember going to war against. Said this to some of your leaders but Urugay probably deserved to win. We will have to have another war in future. Thanks Urugay for the fun o7.
you bought Mexico and Ireland
You sold you honour and are now just a seedy crass individual doing anything to get your way,
Well when i`m now in Ireland i think that it will be nice if you guys want the banners of all our Ministries newspapers including DO`s, separators, footers and all graphic things to be redesigned.
This banners are mine work and i can pass if you don`t have all of them, i think that i still have them on my computer.
btw. Nice job Trito Fisher .o?
Nice job Trito destroying what little honour eIreland had left
