[CP] Day 4679 – Ljubljana

Day 4,679, 09:48 Published in Netherlands Netherlands by Het Catshuis

Despite a cheery departure from Schiphol Airport, the KLM Flight ‘Flying Dutchman’ found an abrupt ending at the outskirts of the capital of Slovenia. Despite it being commandeered by the one of the fiercest crews around the world, the flight found itself in immediate problems when crossing the borders of Slovenia. Whilst the pilots KikoElite and Fmcv made some miraculous manoeuvres with supports from the cabin by Van Der Kaczy, the plane inevitably crashed.

Hello citizens. Time to dust off this unused Newspaper to reflect on the incredible fight we had yesterday against Slovenia. On request of our allies in Asteria and Hydra we executed an Airstrike against our old enemy Slovenia, despite the less than ideal odds involved herein. Yesterday, the entire night proud individuals of the eNetherlands coordinated and watched the battle, looking for a way to win the campaign. Sadly that didn’t come, as the multiple Legends XX of Slovenia were too hard to match.

If there is one big solace, it is that we once again have had the opportunity to show our continuing development. We’ve seen damage on our side that would have been impossible months ago. And more will come, as many of our people are not yet highly ranked which significantly increases their damage output. We have a lot of catching up to do, but once those people have reached Legend XX the aforementioned damage overview will look completely different 😉.

A big thank you to people such as Jordic69, EliteGroundForce, UserIDHidden, Weekstrom, Van Der Kaczy, Michahel, Shawtyl0w, Fmcv and some others that were present on the battlefield. As a thank you from the Government and a motivation to continue fighting, a royal reward will be sent to these players. We also thank friends from nations such as Portugal, Spain and Paraguay for their help. Sadly, we’ve also seen some Dutch soldiers missing from action. But there is always a second chance to redeem yourself 😉.

In other short news:

- The MoD Programs ‘The Flying Dutchman’ and the ‘Green Beret’ are on hold. While Ryan.Rodney.Reynolds took it upon himself last month to continue the programs, this sadly seems to be a short-lived attempt. The Flying Dutchman will continue as usual shortly. For our ground forces the Government will consult what a better way is to help our tanks and increase their damage output and ranks.

- The last ‘Power Spin’ saw a lot of fluctuations on the Monetary Market that made us a profit of several million, on top of our sizeable reserve that already is in our National Organizations. While perhaps shadowy, this money belongs to us all in the eNetherlands – and considering the fact there is even more money than that can be ‘used’ appropriate goals will be sought. These will be more production of Q7 Tanks, Combat Orders and a more dedicated way of supplying fast-ranking Ground Fighters.

- Previous President Van der Kaczy has been elected as Secretary General of our alliance Hydra. We are looking forward to see him revitalize the alliance and bring the alliance of Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia and the Netherlands to its deserving place.

- This week has seen a (surprise) first-week epic with Indonesia, instead of Belgium. Next in-game week we hope to restart our work with Belgium, as to see as many of our soldiers as possible rake in Prestige Points and True Patriot medals for the rest of the week.

- With the recent Airstrike of Lithuania on us in Belarus, we have added one more Training War to our schedule. With 11 Training Wars, the time has never been better to make sure one is stocked with gold, EBs and Ranking Points!

- You may have noticed some of my shouts bringing our Telegram Channel to renewed attention. With 11 Training Wars and occasional real wars, it is essential to stay in quick contact with each other. It is easy to use, anonymous and often the most ‘fun’ this game can bring by talking with your fellow countrymen.
