Join the new world

Dear citizens of the eNetherlands,

After a tumultuous election cycle - including a failed Motion of No Confidence against the Chairman, and the acceptance of the paramount ''Black Friday Fund'' - we can move on right ahead. The surprisingly wide margin of victory I was granted in the presidential election humbles me and is a reassuring voice that the path we've been taking since year works for the citizens of the eNetherlands. After all, the miraculous turn upwards of the eNetherlands is not to be squandered!


Training Wars
In my position as Minister of Defence and prospective President I have looked into additional 'Training War'-arrangements. The number of Dutch fighters and their output of damage has increased considerable since the inception of the current wars with Estonia and Poland. To ensure that everyone has the opportunity for medals and rank points, it is only natural for the Government to seek more such chances.

I'm happy to have discovered several opportunities. What already can be offered immediately is an arrangement with Germany (consisting of 'ping-pong' direct wars). It also has come to my ears that in a few weeks we may be able to Fly once again and have a full Training War (Direct + Resistance) abroad. And this time around we will be the first to contact our neighbours when their current Training Wars end. With some ironing out I hope this will satisfy all our needs.

With it, it also asks for additional responsibility from our people in fighting correctly and consistently to ensure such wars from continuing successfully. Weekstrom probably can do it all on his own, but that shouldn't be the case. 😉


New Keykeeper
I have received the sad news that MaartenW is not as active as he was a while ago and would like the Keykeeper position (the one that changes all passes of organizations every month to ensure our safety) to be transferred. The Government has the fullest confidence in the appointment of Djirtsdew, who has shown long-term commitment to our country and often stands above the political parties.


Black Friday Fund
I am happy to have witnessed the overwhelming majority that supports the ''Black Friday Fund''. For almost a year the Governments - in a rare occasion of long-term planning - have been collecting Gold to aid our citizens during the lucrative discounts. This will result in more productive citizens and in the end, a more prosperous eNetherlands. The guidelines will be ironed out during my term and some preparation work will be done, which includes publishing the right information so citizens can successfully apply and be motivated in this collective effort.


Government NoTie XIV
This is, perhaps, the most 'boring' part. I am however happy to see Loolie Drea joining our Government and Koning der Zeeuwe and Kordak making a re-entry. In the latter case, I have given them full freedom on the oft-forgotten ''Ministry of Home Affairs''. As it is entailed with immigration, I hope it can capitalize on the current interest people from abroad have shown in our small, but active community.
