[CoT] Facing the storm

Greetings, ladies and gentlemen.

In this moment of great change and challenges, CoT HQ has several issues to inform the people of and to make statements in order to underline our position clearly.



1. The War

We are on verge of a world-scale military struggle with a declaration of war to our member Switzerland by Slovenia (TWO); with an ongoing war between Macedonia and Iran and Turkey entering it against Macedonia the next day; and with the USA NE-ing Serbia, a result of the attack Switzerland and a PTO on one of major US parties. CoT considers Slovenian NE to Switzerland a direct aggression against CoT. Although not at the appropriate time, we appreciate the good intentions of the United States on its way to help Switzerland against the Slovenian attack. As an alliance, we will give priority number one to defend Switzerland of that aggression.

CoT as an alliance sought to preserve the peaceful coexistence and cooperation of its members and was never looking for a full-scale military action against any other power in the world, let alone be its initiator.

Since we were attacked, it’s time we respond and we’ll be doing our best to stand together and oppose aggression in order to protect our members, along with freedom and peace in the world.

Not only for us, but for all our friends and allies, who share the same values and vision during these times of great change, will be required wisdom, coordination and effort.



2. New full member

We’re glad to announce that in this difficult moment we have an unanimous approval on a new full member reached at the last summit on Saturday. Russia and its leadership have been putting every possible effort and energy to help CoT and all its countries, which on some occasions has been vital in these hard times, and we’re glad to have them on board.

We know this is a big step for our alliance and for the Russian people, whom we gladly welcome to our big family!



3. The new MC team

We have a new elected Military Commander in the person of NewAzazel, with MinPRO of Russia as vMC, responsible for military coordination in the Eastern Hemisphere.
Now our MC command will not only have to tackle the problem of overstretching our forces, which has become a frequent event, but also ensure better communication with Ministers of Defence and Military Units worldwide and quicker reactions to what is happening on the battlefronts, as well as smart strategic and military planning. They will also be facing steep challenges this month, as we might become a part of a Great war, that will require the cooperation and support of CoT countries as we move forward.

4. Military and inner-state issues

On verge of an all-out war, efforts have been made by our member states to stop all Training wars, which were started a week ago. Some of our members with allied support have also succeeded in battles through resistance wars, which we have seen prior to Congress elections. We also saw a cooperation of CoT and our friends on some battlefronts, and joint military planning will continue, while we also believe all sides involved will come to a solution for mutual diplomatic problems with time.

Last but not least, the imminent start of the Great War has also triggered lively discussions in some countries and on alliance level. We consider it normal and we work to achieve solutions that will satisfy all our members and ensure their safety, stability and support.

What we want to clearly outline is that regardless how the internal political situation in any member state goes and no matter to what kind of diplomatic dialogues with CoT and non-CoT states it may lead to, the HQ will do its best to support all members who are in trouble right now.

We are sure that unity and friendship, instead of intrigues and manipulation, will always lead the righteous side to victory in the end. We share this with confidence in us, in you.
