Hello friends, Comet here again 😉

Whoa, that was a long time after my last article right? It was a hot summer here in Korea and I had my first summer vacation after I enter university. When I was in first semester, I bought some plane tickets. Yeap, honestly I bought them quite impulsively 😃 I got some invitations from my erep friends, and I just... I just decided to go there!

So, my final destination was three different countries- Japan, Taiwan, and Slovenia. And I decided to visit Italy as well while I am traveling Slovenia. Here are some pictures I took.

I chose to go Sapporo because Sapporo is located in Hokkaido, the upper big island of Japan. This summer was too hot for me in Korea so I wanted to enjoy a cool city(It was too cool though, at night I could not stand outside with short sleeve) It was my first time visiting Japan. As I expected, many things were similar with my country. However, I could find some unique things of Japan such as dozens of convenient store foods, cute and pretty handcraft things, and their kind attitude toward travelers. I was satisfied with delicious foods and views with my first sole travel, but maybe I will try Osaka or Tokyo with my friends next time, I was a bit lonely with cold rain 😃

First impression, HOT! It was even a lot hotter than Seoul(I know... it is south so it should be hot but too much for me!) But after I adapt in their climate, taiwan was a very attractive country. I visited some tourism spots like Taipei 101, National Palace Museum, and Lungshan Temple. I also hung out with hongkong friends I met in the guest house. People were so nice to travelers. Even if they couldn't speak English they tried their best to help me find road. Sometimes they walked with me until I get the right direction 🙂 Roads and tour spots were super clean, unlike their buildings but I loved the atmosphere from old buildings too. Last day was one of the best day in my summer, I ate some delicious local foods like pork meatballs with rice cover and rode a bike along the seaside. I could also bring some famous foods like pineapple cake, peanut butter and popular noodles to my home. I want to say thank you again and again to the kind people I met in Taiwan. I will absolutely visit there again 🙂

I first landed in Ljubljana, Slovenia. I just slept for a night and took a small bus to go to Venis. When I first arrived Italy, I didn't have internet connection so I suffered 2 hours near the station. After I got connection, I stepped on 4 wrong trains(my fault).... However, after I get in the main island of Venezia it was a whole different sight. There were so many travelers but I didn't care much. I just enjoyed the own atmosphere of the city of romance and love 😍 Venice was one of my dream city so I was so happy to see those beautiful architectures, and boats floating along the canal. The interesting part was that there were many people singing and performing small jazz&classical concert. I stopped in the center of Piazza San Marco and listened to them for a while. It was so great time there.

Slovenia was a wonderful country. Actually it was a bit different from other countries in Europe. The capital city Ljubljana was small and peaceful. It was not noisy although there were many travelers and young people on the street at night. I was hanging out with some friends I met in airbnb house(they were from UK, Australia and Belgium) and we were all surprised and satisfied with the calm and beautiful atmosphere of Ljubljana. Slovenia's nature was impressive too. I visited Piran, where is the only coastal region of the country. There was a beautiful beach, sunny day, and with delicious seafood - nothing could be more perfect 🙂 Lake Bled also gave me some beautiful pictures with rowing experience 😛
Actually I visited Slovenia because my friend keyser_slo invited me. We met on the last day of my travel and he also brought some of his e-friends too. What I surprised was that Troter was traveling Slovenia too at that time so we could meet together! His another friend Dunja and her cute daughter was there too. We didn't know each other at first and we didn't speak same language, but we became close quickly. We drank beer, mojito, and wine at the bar and they kindly led us to the local restaurant where we could taste some local foods. We talked a lot about our RL&erepublik of course, and we road boat together along the Ljubljana lake. It was tremendous last night in sLOVEnia.



It was a hot summer. I traveled all four countries alone but I could make so many new friends. I could see beautiful scenery that I have never see even in my laptop. I could experience new things in new cities with new people. I couldn't be more satisfied with my first vacation after I become legally adult 🙂 It was an epic summer for me, made by good people live worldwide.

I will definitely travel around the world again in the next winter vacation(which will be start in December), and I already made some lists - Turkey and Indonesia. Probably I will fly to Europe as well in the winter but not decided... that means you can invite me to your country I am always waiting for your kind invitations! But ofc now I need to save some money and find great plane ticket offers 🙂
