[Clopo Questions - Ep.5] - Guerrilla Nations is coming! Help needed!

Day 3,487, 02:29 Published in Romania Romania by Clopoyaur
Two weeks ago I made a survey regarding comeptitions on Clopoyaur TV and one of the question was related to the team competitions in Guerrilla. Over 50% of you wanted to see a competition of Guerrilla between nations.

As this implies a little bit of planification and thinking I want to debate with you and maybe even find a better idea about how this competition should look like.

I will split my ideas into 3 categories:

TEAMS:

Option 1) Each National team is composed by an unlimited amount of members, depending on how many they register. All the points gathered by each member go to the team total.

PRO: Everyone can participate and be a part of the group effort.
CONS: Bigger nations will have more participants, therefore bigger chances of winning

Option 2) Each National team will have a fixed amount of members (let's say 7), a designated captain that will make the selection for each nation.

PRO: Equal chances for every nation, rank will be determine purely by skill
CONS: Problems among team with more members than places (larger nations). Small nations will not want to participate as they will not be able to gather the requested amount of players

Option 3) Any of the options 1) and 2) but the ranking will be made based on the win/lose ratio

PRO: A different type of ranking
CONS: Weaker players will not want to participate as they will only deteriorate the percentage for the National team score. "Trolls" may register just to destroy some countries percentages.

Option 4) Any Nation can register an unlimited amount of participants but only the best X performances (let's say 7) will be taken into consideration

PRO: Every participant will want to contribute to the Nation score
CONS: I dont know if that is possible technically, I will have to consult MAster_rg for this

PRIZES

Option A) The prize goes entirely into the National Treasury of the countries

PRO: The presidents and countries as a whole will be interested to participate
CONS: Participants will not get any prizes unless the country leaders pay them for their efforts

Option 😎 The prizes are splited, part goes to Country Treasury, part to participants

PRO: The players will get prizes
CONS: The prizes for the countries will not be that high, therefore countries may not be very interested in participating

Option C) The prizes go entirely to the players from the winning Nation, split even or eccordingly to their performance

PRO: Competition will be more like "team based" than Nation based
CONS: Presidents will not care much about the competition, since countries wont benefit much, aside from glory

Option D) Plato awards some special bonus for the entire winning Nations for a few days (Example: +10 recovery for the whole Nation for 24h or 2 Energy Bars for every member of the Nation)

PRO: That would be fantastic
CONS: Plato is not very fond of such an idea, still I might persuade him if I have huge support from you

DAY OF THE COMPETITION

Option X ) During the week (as usual, Thursday)

PRO: Everybody is used to competition taking place during the week
CONS: Some people may have exams

Option Y) Friday

PRO: The weekend is ahead, people may stay up a bit late
CONS: Is Friday, people are going out to have fun

Option Z) Sunday

PRO: Everybody is free on Sunday
CONS: Usually the activity on Sunday is a bit lower

Please help me with your opinion and suggestions for this, because, as you know, your opinions are very important to me. Also, feel free to suggest other options that maybe I have not seen.
Tell me your preferences and which option would suit you the best.

Please, also remember that now there is no limit in Guerrilla in regard to the opponent. Anyone can fight anyone, therefore finding an opponent during competitions is no longer an issue.

One last thing: TIME ZONES. I am in Europe, but there are countries in Americas and Asia. Unfortunately I cannot organize this unless it happens in European Prime Time.

Thank you,
Clopo
