[Claire4CP] Ooh, a manifesto!

Never thought I’d be doing one of these, but here we go! I’ll try and keep it fairly short and to the point, but I do have a tendency to waffle on a bit.

So, who am I?

I started out life as an eUK citizen. About 11 months ago, I left there for Aus. When I came here, I was offered a spot as a Director of Centrelink (which we later renamed to the Joey Development Scheme). I helped take a dead and buried scheme and turn it into something incredibly successful, something that has benefitted a lot of new and returning players and something still going strong today. The JDS has also helped new players get involved, go on to become ministers and even CP. I was also given the position of Commander/Marshal of the ADF, and took our national MU with just a handful of active fighters to an MU that now has on average 30 active fighters as well as people who purely strength train. I have been vCP twice now, this term and last, as well as Minister of Finance and Minister of Defence.



So...Stuff...

Australian Defence Force
I will continue to distribute Q7 weapons to ADF fighters. Up until this current term, Q7’s are something we had not had in a good few months, and I don’t want to stop that. I’d also like to carry on with weekly food drops for ADF members. I have calculated that the cost of supplying ADF members with Q7 weapons and a small food drop a week is roughly 12k cc. I expect to have a surplus of roughly 22k cc from this months budget, which will roll over to next month.
I’d love to keep up talks with the eSAAF (eSouth African Armed Forces) and have our division one players fight alongside theirs in wars either nation need a little extra push in.

Joey Development Scheme
I plan to introduce one or two new tasks into the JDS, to further help our new and returning players. Those who have already applied for/completed all of the tasks will be able to gain their gold from any new tasks introduced. We still have a ton of money to last us a good while, but donations are always welcome. The JDS, under its current format, has also been copied by other nations, something that we're very proud of.



Alliances/Military/MPP’s
Of course, if we do not achieve getting into LETO this month, this will be one of my biggest pushes. I feel lately that we have more than proved ourselves and this will be one of my primary goals.
I will be asking my DoD to co ordinate resistance wars with LETO nations so our damage goes to good use, rather than pointless wars. I want to be an absolute pain in the backside to all of our occupiers. There are also bigger things in the pipelines, things I can’t speak of yet, things that have been worked on for a few months now. If all goes to plan, I fully intend on implementing these “things”. And glorious things they shall be. I will not break the bank with any plans, but money will have to be spent out. Which is scary. But it will benefit us in a big way.
I fully intend on holding all of our current MPP’s. There may be perhaps one or two more, depending on circumstances at the time, but that isn’t set in cement.
I also intend on opening a PM with the current MU Commanders in Australia. If we have a priority, I will let them know and ask them to set their DO’s. Whether they do is up to them. It was tried this term and failed miserably, but even if nobody takes any notice of me, at least I’m trying. I also want to continue to rent unused orgs to MU’s who wish to use one for whatever reason.



Entertainment
There will be a small budget set aside (TBD) for the purpose of entertainment. These could include lotteries, or include getting the highest score on t’internet flash games. I will also be approaching someone to release articles every now and then that we can all get a giggle out of. A very small thing, but we all need a chuckle every now and then.

She has done some long and dedicated work not only for our young player scheme but also distributed daily supplies for our ADF by herself without ever taking supplies for herself. Even when she was in hopsital after a serious operation she was still on her phone distributing supplies as she is that dedicated, and she also shows this by throwing her own money into the ADF for lottery's and member of the week.

I fully believe she will be an excellent President."

Yeah. That's what happens when Hugh says "Oooh, I'll write a paragraph about you!". What a...



I will be holding Q&A’s every week so you lot can pester me about whatever you want to. I'll also release my cabinet and anything else I’ve *probably* missed out in my next article. I definitely feel like I’ve missed something pretty important, but my brain has stopped functioning now.
