Greetings fellow Belgians!
With the help of the Plato Foundation and our own treasury we were able to support our community’s well received Belgian House Aid project for 4 months. But with the new policy of the PF board, which will no longer support long running projects, and the decrease of activity as well as less participants joining it, we have decided to not overload our expenses, and therefore have decided to stop the BHA program. We took a look and tried to find a solution on how to keep the house support running without the exceeding our budget or with a decrease of subsidies. As we couldn’t find a way that would be a successful replacement to the old system we decided to stop the program altogether for now. If someone has any idea how to do it, please contact us. Also with the end of the BHA large part of our budget will be free and if there is any other idea to set any project funded by state let us know too.
Cooperation with the Plato Foundation granted us 1.220 golds, which we converted to 584.605 CC. Total expenses over the 4 months, our project was active, were 880.600 CC, the difference between funds we receive from the PF and total expenses, 295.995 CC, were covered by the country budget.

We helped 17 different Belgians that applied and qualified for the reward. In total we redistribute over 130 subsidies each equal to a Q2 house.

We hope the project gave you an opportunity and a way to play more actively as well as helped you achieve your goals faster. We are glad that lot of players on the initiative of Saligia and its leadership decided to use the opportunity and activated a Q3 house along with the Q1 and Q2.
We will take a look into the ideas and try to set up some new program, that will provide help to all Belgians and bring some worth to play activity to the community.

1) It's about the housing program, right ? But what about the "35 kills Aircraft" aid program : is this one still going on ?
2) I found one paradox : Less participant joined in => Decide to stop not to overload expenses !? But if the program was a success with many more participants, you'd have more problem with the expanses, no ?
1. Yes, the BAF project will still reward food for air kills.
2. The main problem is the price of Q2 house, especially in those hyped days surrounding Day 4000 and Anniversary. State monthly income is about 60k cc and with current prices, we would very soon go over our income and perhaps we could manage our other expenses (MPPs,...) with our reserves, but on a long run, we would eventually run out of money. So far we were sponsored by Plato Foundation and their contribution covered 66% of program expenses. We hoped to run the program on our own, but because of decreasing activity, we decided it is better to use our money somewhere else.
